Thanks for sharing the info about your experience. Would be interesting to see if your resting heart rate comes back down once your system acclimates to the Tadalafil. Mind sharing your age?
Have you tried staggering it to see if that makes a difference. Someone suggested this method which I’m going to try to stagger out the dosing.: (Day 1 - morning, Day 2- evening, Day 3 - skip, Day 4 - morning, etc. Another option would be just trying every other day and see if the reflex is...
Just filled the prescription but haven’t started yet. Had issues with increased heart when splitting a 5 mg pill so was waiting until I could find a round version of the 2.5 mg to be able to microdose down to 0.625 mg and see if that helps. Was getting good results otherwise. Nocturnal and...
Thanks for the response. In the 5 mg option Walgreens has dispensed the round ones as well as the oval ones. Have been on the search for the round ones in the 2.5 mg option. It looks like Costco may have the round 2.5 mg option. Will follow up once confirmed.
Can you comment on the manufacture of the 2.5 mg tadalafil you are usin?. Some pills are round and some are oval. The oval ones are impossible to cut in 1/4. Trying to locate a manufacturer that has 2.5 mg in the round shape. Thanks.
Thanks again for the detailed response. Are you on TRT or just using/cycling T injections on a as needed basis? Wondering if that might be another option on this end if the ped5 inhibitors don’t work out.
Thanks for the feedback. No doubt that testosterone would have a stronger effect than Cialis. Sounds like another example of a full dose a medication resulting in undesired side effects. Were you able to find any other drug or supplement that gave you any results without major side effects?
Doctor suggested to try viagra to see if the heart rate issues go away but based on your feedback it sounds like it might just have other effects. Did you ever try reducing your dose of Cialis and/or spacing out the dose to see if your body adjusted?
What is the daily dose you are taking and how long have you been taking it? Curious to know if it continued to raise your resting heart rate or if your body acclimated. Thanks in advance.
Can you clarify if you are taking 20mg of cialis or viagra? checked my smart watch data again and looks like the year average resting rate is 75 not 85. Will need to follow up with doctor to see if thats a clue to another issue.
To clarify went back and look at my smart watch data and the 6 month and average resting heart rate is around 75. No issues on recent EKG. Will look into following up with a cardiologist.
Thanks for sending that article. Interesting enough the study also included tadalafil (Cialis) and mentioned "heart rates were not significantly different from those with placebo" thus I'm wondering if one has the heart rate increase with one PED5 inhibitor if it will also occur with the other...
On one occasion i got an alert from my smart watch that my resting heart rate was elevated while i was inactive and reported it was 120 bpm. This occurred around 4 pm after having taken a 1.25 mg does of Cialis in the morning. Typical resting heart rate is about 85 bpm. Doctor said to give...
Was prescribed the 5 mg daily does Cialis but even with dosing as low as 1.25 mg, a negative side effect that keeps happening is a very noticeable heart rate increase up to 12 hours after dosing. This happens even if the dosage was taken every other day or every three days.
Doctor suggested...
Did you end up getting over the heart rate issues? Same issue on this end even when dosing as low as 1.25 mg every other day. Curious to know if you came up with a dosing scheme to get over the hear rate issues.
This makes perfect sense. I found an online half life calculator just to check the math. Using the 17.5 hour Cialis half life it calculated that after 3.65 days you'd have 3.13% left in your system. Thus it would seem like if you wanted to be conservative taking it every 4 days would ensure...
Did you have any luck figuring out a dosing of Cialis that didn't lead to a fast heartbeat. I had the same experience with 2.5mg and even 1.25mg. Even tried taking it every other day but still ended up with the fast heartbeat. Did you have any luck with L-Arginine?
Just spotted this other post from you after you replied to my post yesterday regarding heart rate issues on Cialis. Did you end up finding a dosing that works for you with the increased heart rate?
Seem to have had the same reaction on this end even while dosing every other day with 2.5 mg and 1.25 mg. Did you manage to overcome the side effect or did you abandon using it at all?
Curious to know if you made an attempt to try and use Cialis again. Ran into the exact same issues of a super fast heart rate on 2.5 mg even when dosing every other day. Even tried lowering the dose to 1.25 mg and had the same results. Like you bummed out due to all of the benefits thus...
Thanks for the feedback. The reason I switched to every other day was due to the half life. I read the half life was 17.5 hour or ~ 18 hours. Thus after 36 hours it should be down to zero in your system. By taking it every other day 48 hours would have expired between dosages so I figured...
Was prescribed 5 mg of a daily dose but based on posting in this forum I decided to cut the dose in half to start at a lower dose. After about 3 consecutive days I noticed my heart was beating faster during the day and it was more noticeable at bed time.
