Your SHBG is always relevant. It doesn’t matter if you are on trt or not. If your SHBG is high it’s going to bind up your testosterone. Saying it’s working like a sponge is correct. It’s binding up all the goodness and not letting your body use it.

Not to brag but I have nearly 12 months of prescription testosterone on hand. I just happen to be prescribed 175mg a week and only use 125 but fill my script every 28 days instead of 30. Seems to work well.

I take 125mg TestE once a week and at 7 days my free test is still higher than high normal. Probably going to drop to 100mg after bloods in two weeks. My carrier oil helps extend the half life of the testosterone apparently. Have information to back this up.
