I didn’t like it, maybe me super hungry all the time (ghrelin agonist), tired, and fasting blood sugars increased significantly. A lot of people also get gyno when adding mk-677 to their regimen. I did sleep like a baby though, but definitely had less energy throughout the day. Some people love...
I should also mention that I always felt pretty good on Empower’s cream, but Medquest is cheaper and now I will be using half the dose to get the same or better results, win-win.
So I was using 200 mg/gm compounded cream from Empower, which is HRT base, for almost 3 years before I switched to Medquest Pharmacy to try the Atrevis Base. I have heard about increased absorption from Atrevis base, but damn! I was using 3 clicks twice daily of Empower’s HRT base and never got...
I totally agree that it is far from common, but I’m a member on a few trt Facebook groups and a few people here and there are reporting lower lab values and lack of symptom resolution on sub-q compared to IM. Now obviously those people could be switching something else up and not mentioning it...
Although I doubt this to be the case, Dr Mark Gordon, who was on the Joe Rogan Podcast to talk about trt specifically in regards to TBI I believe, said T-cream could increase penis size when applied there lol
Some guys get lumps when injecting oil based in the abdomen near the navel. I would on occasion, but the “love handle” and upper glute/low back area was great for me. I actually got higher numbers on sub q than IM, but some guys don’t absorb oil well sub q
I believe I saw you not to long ago posting on the Facebook group, “trt and hormone optimization.” You got bashed around for using I believe .25mg anastrozole per week. Weren’t you also using armour thyroid and hgh as well?
I’ve been doing quarterly 7 day fasts for a few years now and it has absolutely changed by physical and mental health like nothing has. I also love sauna use and am exploring cold exposure ow as I live in the northeast
Probably not a good idea as it will more than likely crush your shbg. Would be more ideal to add a small dose of testosterone cream applied scrotally to raise dht. The cream doesn’t even have to be used everyday day, some guys only use it 2 days per week on top of their injections for better...
How long have you been on trt for? Once daily application? Where do you apply the gel? That is a very high total t if you applied around 24 hours prior. That is a hefty AI dose, why so much? I’m 100% against the use of an AI unless one is a rare breed who’s body over aromatizes. It was designed...
Everybody is unique in how well they absorb transdermal meds, but a general rule of thumb is approximately 10% absorption for non scrotal areas and closer to 50% or even more for scrotal application. This varies greatly between people, but that’s a very rough guideline
Between gel or cream, always go with compounded 200 mg/ml cream unless the gel contains no alcohol like with atrevis. This way you can apply transscrotally if you’d like and should have a lesser chance of possible skin issues.
I’m not saying this to sound like the smart guy in the room so to speak, but many of the top trt docs now believe that by blocking aromatase you could be doing serious harm long term. You have no idea what tissues in the body, like the brain for example, where it’s being blocked.
By hydrogel, are you referring to Atrevis? What pharmacy are you using brutha? Hopefully you get symptom resolution with the change, keep us filled in.
If you’re in the US and paying out of pocket at an anti aging type clinic, just tell them exactly what you’re doing and they won’t ask you to get off for any length of time. I was in a similar boat to you, and they just had me do initial bloodwork and put me on 150 mg/week as soon as it came back.
Potential low estrogen symptoms?? I wouldn’t imagine you would need an ai on testogel as I can’t imagine 50 mg applying non scrotal would drive T levels up to awful high, but who knows
One of my main complaints about compounded cream is that pharmacies are not required to submit 3rd party testing of non injectable meds. Switch to Medquest Pharmacy our of Salt Lake City, Utah if you can as they have every batch tested by a 3rd party
You can’t accurately try to convert dosages from topical to injectable a and vice versa, more variables with transdermals. One person might absorb 70% of the topical T and someone else might only absorb 10% and that can change over time. Either way, the topical MUST be used at least once per day...
