Old myths take a lot of time to die, and this myth of keeping e2 in the 20-30 pg/ml range no matter testosterone levels is silly. Plus, estrogen is a paracrine hormone, so systemic levels might not mean much at all
It’s a valid question brother, seems like a good question for a pharmacist with some experience compounding injectable testosterone maybe?
I and many others have heated testosterone vial for many years now, doesn’t mean it’s good to do though. I know plenty on here we’re former aas users...
Terrible protocol overall, but very effective at raising dht. Throw 100 mg test cyp weekly with that and you would have your bases covered lol I’m one of those where injections don’t really cause my dht to budge much at all
You are correct in saying that we do not know how many times you can place the vial of testosterone in hot water before it “degrades” the quality, of at all. My anecdotal experience is that I heated my test cyp vial for each of my biweekly injections of 200 mg for about 3 years, without any...
Very interesting and makes perfect sense about the local saturation of 5-alpha reductase. That is a pretty crazy percentage of dht you had on Androgel, wow! Do you recall what your Androgel dosage was at the time? Thanks for your input brother
You could put a little bit of water in a coffee mug, put it in the microwave for a minute or two, and once out put the testosterone vial upright in the water for a couple minutes. This “thins” the oil out and you can pull into an insulin syringe relatively quickly.
Has Defy mentioned anything about having trouble potentially getting rows or something? I’m not up for refill until the end of April, I wonder if it would be possible to order early?
Damn, I was prescribed Accutane in my teens as well. I never had any sexual dysfunction or libido issues though, never tested dht until I was with Defy so not sure about dht levels prior. I had no idea that you could get oxandrolone or Stanozolol through Defy!
I totally agree with everything you have here. Hopefully some guys on cream only protocols can share their dht labs on here. If anyone here is doing a cream only protocol through Defy, I can pretty much guarantee they are testing dht levels. What are you doing Jason, 1 click of 200 mg/gm cream...
Defy had me cut my amount that I apply to the scrotum in half because of elevated dht. I still test significantly over the upper dht range applying 1 click to scrotum and 1 to back of knee, forearm, or top of foot twice daily
Gotta love how testosterone gets lumped together with opiates lol almost anything can be mentally addicting to someone with that personality trait, but physically addicting, not so much
Man I TOTALLY can relate to that last sentence lol I’m on the cream and my libido is extreme at the moment, to the point where being in a committed relationship is a hell of a lot more difficult to be honest. Apparently my body just loves elevated dht as I feel amazing. My sex drive is...
Anyone here use compounded cream from Hallandale instead of Empower? Or possibly both for a comparison? I’ll call them later, but does anyone know if they offer atrevis base?
If you’re getting levels near 1,000 ng/dl using sites other than the scrotum than you absorb transdermals very well, even with what I assume you meant 150 mg daily
I agree, it’s just that most doctors use this in practice, where they will not go above a certain dosage, regardless of what levels you achieve and health markers. Probably for liability reasons. It’s like a doctor telling a diabetic he will only prescribe x amount of insulin even if blood...
What exactly is "a steroid dose" of testosterone? I'm not being a smartass here, just curious what you consider that to be. I personally don't know what seperates trt from steroid dosages outside of blood levels. If it takes some 350 mg to reach a free t of 30 and all health markers are good, is...
Is 30% compounded testosterone cream a thing? I have heard that 20% is the cap, because anything above that would flake apart and wouldn't stay stable for very long. You're spot on though, androgel is useless for 99% of men who want to be optimized. Maybe if you use dmso with the androgel?
I’ve heard a few docs mention that other than having the genetic predisposition for gyno, having chronically high igf-1 levels seems to have a potential correlation (take with a grain of salt as nobody actually knows). I def would not want chronically high igf-1 levels if you’re interested in...
