Hey lake guy,
I eventually went off clomid after about 2 months. It caused some servere emotional and depression issues that weren’t solved even with a low dose AI. Since I had issues with injections before I switched to compounded topical and am feeling great now. I was hoping clomid would...
This is very interesting thank you for this. It seems as no matter what after time then zuc isomer begins to dominate, making long term successful treatment difficult. As I understand it is debated if an AI effects the ZUC estrogenic effect or not.
Thanks. I did start DIM about a week and a half ago. I just received my arimidex .125 and was going to take one. I also with advice from
The doc lowered my clomid to 12.5 EOD. I’m hopeful as those first few weeks were fantastic. Hopefully lowering the dose and e2 will give me some relief. If not...
Thanks for the reply, that seems to be the common theme is people either don’t respond and feel horrible right off the bat or do respond but then it stops working. Is it strictly e2 related on why it stops or is there some other reason such as the longer half life of zuclompiphine that builds up...
Not to hijack your thread but Wondering if you guys could help me understand what I’ve read about clomid and the estorogenic isomer. Background, 29 years old 2 kids don’t want anymore. Started on t-cyp injections about a year ago. Felt horrible pretty much the whole time. Tried numerous...
I know this is an old thread but thought I would put my two cents in. 29 years old two daughters so no concern of fertility. Had 8-9 months of a pretty horrible trt experience. Finally got with defy and had dr. Saya recommend 12.5 mg clomid a day. First 3 weeks felt fantastic, best I had in...
No I don’t think it was the test flu this continued for months into treatment. And it was always directly correlated to start 3-4 hours after injection.
In fairness part of the problem was not sticking to a protocol long enough for things to stabilize. But I also couldn’t even function at home or work so I had a very hard time sticking it out for more than a few weeks. If clomid fails I think I may try enthanate and see if I have a different...
I think I do remember that one I’ll do some digging. Thanks for the reply. I’m actually feeling pretty good on 12.5 mg/day of clomid but only been on it for about 16 days so we’ll see.
I’m wondering if anyone has any anecdotal experiences on different esters. I am currently trying a round of clomid mainly because I was getting really bad headaches on cypionate, with AI without, varying dosages. I was wondering if anyone out there has had similar experiences and tried different...
I realize that is typically what is the conventional wisdom but vestpocket is introducing a theory that SHBG does more than just “carry” sex hormones. Myself have been on trt for 6 months with pretty minimal results. I’m experimenting with the idea of if it’s either because of the free estradiol...
This seems to be contradictory to what a lot of the forums say, but I am interested in your theory. Most of the ideas on the forum advocate lower doses of testosterone for low SHBG. I could be wrong but I have never seen any of the physicians give this opinion or notice in their clinical...
I know there’s a handful of cases of which starting trt has increased anxiety. I have had bouts of anxiety while on trt and will admit I’m still trying get dialed in. I know estrogen levels play a role being high or low is reported for anxiety, thyroid levels as well. In Dr. Crislers book he...
Dr. Rotman,
Thank you so much for taking your time to answer these questions. I was blown away by the level of detail of your responses. I was wondering if you have ever encountered pelvic pain as a side effect of low T or estrogen related. I’ve struggled with pelvic pain, painful ejaculation...
Crazy that it took your E to get that low to feel good. I think I have finally figured out why I have been dealing with constant headaches, brain fog and feeling mediocre the past 6 months on TRT. My E non-sensitive (didn't know any better) prior to starting TRT was 5. I've contemplated...
interesting that has been my theory on why I haven't felt good is that i really need to be much lower e2 wise than I had thought. Maybe that's the key.
yea agreed thats where my idea is but having a hard time feeling good trying to get there. What were your labs like on that crazy protocol did you ever crash your e2
Top of the range is what everyone seems to say is best. I'm just aiming to feel good. I thought you were at 12 mg daily but you said lower your dose to 12.5. What dose were those labs pulled at?
I started the daily injections about 2 weeks ago and at first felt really good, then started noticing the completely random anxiety showing up. I read that Dr. John believes he has a theory on anxiety and low sbgh but haven't been able to find his answer. Have you tried EOD at all? I may go back...
labs look good. Bummer your not feeling well. Have you had those as high E symptoms in the past? I am in the same boat where I've been trying to dial myself in for going on 6 months now. I'm beginning to agree with systemlord in regards to us low SBGH guys needing lower total T numbers to feel...
