Appreciate this very much. I don't think it's worth the trouble at this point to try dailies or multiple esters.
Interestingly, I tried a few things last night/today that seem to have helped with both sleep and constipation. I applied a little bit of progesterone cream to my scrotum before bed...
Yes, test was at trough. Would there be any merit to trying IM to see if it changes the metabolism? Are there any concerns with the fact that I appear to metabolize testosterone fast? Would this point toward doing daily shots as a better option? I inject at night before bed but could also switch...
in the past I’ve lowered my estradiol and my constipation has improved. My sleep has also been better when my E2 was lower. This was of course when my SHBG was lower as well, so my free T was comparatively higher. So that makes me wonder about raising my dose as you suggested to try and boost...
Long-term TRT patient, current protocol is 154mg/week in EOD SubQ shots (into thigh, belly, hip, etc). I've struggled on and off with digestion issues (constipation) and lack of deep sleep. A few months ago I started intermittent fasting and it's been good for dropping some weight. That combined...
It took a fair bit of research to determine this, but there's a strong correlation between testosterone and inhibition of ACTH, which is what causes your body to release cortisol. It's very very possible that your body is especially sensitive to testosterone's effects on the HPA axis and that...
Once again, it's great that HC works for you. That said, no one can provide an explanation as to your stuff without more information. I'd suggest starting a new thread of your own with bloodwork, relevant medical history, what interventions you've described, etc. I am still not sure what you're...
It sounds like you need some expert help on that, and I am not that expert. If you're having trouble waking up that late I'd seek medical attention and help-- that sounds really difficult and could be related to serious endocrine issues. Also, dosing of HC and those protocols is way outside of...
Yep. That's why I'm thinking of going to a protocol that allows for more variation. I started off my TRT 9 years ago on EOD so I have literally been running at a steady level that entire time. I suspect there's a lot of processes that have been slowed/inhibited by this, so it's why I'm looking...
SHBG is low 20s consistently. Thyroid function was fine as of last March (haven't done labs since COVID), Free T3 top of range, free T4 low normal, TSH low end of normal, rT3 low end of range. I tried adding T4 and felt like I was going to die so that wasn't the right solution. Cortisol is low...
I wonder if the testosterone used in this preparation has an ester attached or is ester-free. If esterified testosterone can be absorbed intranasally that would be really interesting. Also curious if esterified testosterone can be dissolved in alcohol. @Cataceous do you happen to know or have...
I’m a long term TRT patient, 39 years old.
I’ve been on cypionate and inject a total of 154mg weekly in EOD subQ shots of 44mg each.
I have been doing some thinking about the potential benefit of keeping dosing the same but experimenting with using a low cypionate base around 80-100mg weekly...
It was free as they were running a promotion. Would have been $15 otherwise. Assuming I'll have to do another consult when I renew the Rx but I won't mind. It's so cheap with the GoodRx coupon that I kinda can't believe it.
No meds from Roman required. The doctor just submitted the electronic prescription I asked for straight to the grocery store pharmacy. Brought in the GoodRx coupon and off the races.
There's zero reason to use Defy for this. Their consultation fees for this are exorbitant and their call-in fee for prescriptions is insultingly high. I paid $0 for Roman to submit a prescription due to a coupon. The consult would have been $15 had I not had the coupon.
Cool. I did a consult with Roman today and have an Rx in to my local pharmacy. With a GoodRx coupon it's like $13 for what will be a six month supply as I am going to split the 5mg pills.
Thanks man, appreciate the feedback. That's interesting that you notice a difference even at 2.5mg EOD. Have you had any side effects like back pain or other issues?
I'm interested in trying tadalafil for vascular health. ED not an issue but like what I've seen about tadalafil for health overall. I'd prefer an ODT (orally dissolving tablet) that I can dose as low as 2.5mg at a time. Has anyone seen tadalafil orally dissolving tabs from an online pharmacy? I...
Can @DS3 and @Rock H. Johnson comment on how DHT derivatives may have impacted your sleep? One of my biggest issues on TRT has to do with getting good quality sleep, and I suspect that my sleep issues are mediated in part by E2 levels. I'd be interested in hearing both of your subjective...
Is this drop when replacing T with nandrolone or running it alongside? Can you clarify the mechanism by which TT drops on labs when running nandrolone? Quite curious what you’re referring to here.
how long did you take it? I have some on hand and felt pretty darn good when I took it. Discontinued because it seemed to throw off my blood sugar (which recovered when I stopped) but I did sleep better and feel good on it.
