My urologist says ~50% of the guys he starts on Clomid end up having success with it and I just read here that Dr. Saya has success with it 30-50% of the time. why is there such a discrepancy between the number of people reporting success on these forums and the figures given by the experts...

Compounding Pharmacies sponsor this site? Empower? And what brand of HCG do you use now?

OK, in about 6 weeks I’ll have objective data comparing Empower vs Pregnyl HCG. 1500IU EOD of Empower’s HCG only brought my TT levels up to 356 ng/dl from about 280 ng/dl. If Pregnyl yields similar results, I’ll feel a bit better about using compounded medications.

Would I be able to get Pregnyl through them?

Thanks for the info Nelson. Yeah, the goal was fertility and to avoid Clomid. Clomid side effects scare me. I guess if my balls aren’t going to behave, I need to start looking into a testosterone protocol.

Hey Nelson, I use Empower pharmacy and I did have to add bacteriostatic water. 12,000 IUs, I add 6ml of H20 to the vial. 2,000 IU per ml. .75ml per injection=1,500 IU.
