New labs w/ protocol + symptoms

I am a bit confused on the RT3 issue and how to handle it. Sure, t3 will lower it, but that doesn't address the cause of the rt3. It will come back if I don't take t3 indefinitely. I take 2 grains of NDT each day currently. So what's causing this? My iron looks more than adequate. My CRP is...

New labs w/ protocol + symptoms

Sorry, I did. TT low 723 and Free T 28.1. Those are pretty standard scores for me so I wasn't triggered to include those, which of course I should have considering this is a TRT forum. lol

New labs w/ protocol + symptoms

Got labs back. Labs from 5/18 vs labs 3 months ago when I was feeling a lot better (I have only been feeling bad for the past 10 days or so, thought I crashed estrogen from AI use): -Hemoglobin up to 16, previously 15 -WBC up to 7.5 from 7.0 -Sodium down to 137 from 143 (134-144); sodium is...

Considering Dr. Saya for 2nd try with TRT – any advice appreciated

Sir, I would be willing to bet if you focused on thyroid, your problems would go away without the need of TRT. Improving the thyroid will actually raise your testosterone levels. This would also lower your LDL quite a bit. But it would definitely be worth meeting Saya. I would suggest running...

Low SHBG is Correlated to Fatty Liver

It was more of my anecdote of how low shbg is not always nafld or diabetes. It was nice to see that increase. Also, I felt loads better after starting my thyroid medication. TRT was mostly ineffective until then (september 2017). I can't pinpoint if higher shbg was a part of that.

Re: (low) DHT...anyone using cream + injections

Gotcha. I was just speaking in general though, seems like a lot of guys are doing the extra T-cream on scrotum for the DHT boost without really seeing improvements in any area.

Re: (low) DHT...anyone using cream + injections

Just sounds like number-chasing to me but granted I don't know any negative effects of low DHT (most studies concentrate on DHT that is too high).

Re: (low) DHT...anyone using cream + injections

So no benefit with your increased DHT?

    Should I Donate? Confusing Results

Thanks for pointing me to that. We are in similar positions but mine isnt as serious. My ferritin is over 100 and my HBG is at 15 so never donated. Scary that your satu is at 85%, hopefully you get that figured out. Definitely very serious.

    Should I Donate? Confusing Results

I just received similar results. Iron OVER 200, Sat at 62%. Ferritin a little over 100 though. HGB at 15 so that doesn't scream ‘donate!' Might I have this disorder? I meet with Defy in two weeks but curious for responses.

Low SHBG is Correlated to Fatty Liver

Yeah I think it is just one piece of the puzzle. Also, my shbg was in the 40,s one year ago while on Clomid. If only I could figure out mechanism there. Was it artificially high or no?

Low SHBG is Correlated to Fatty Liver

Low SHBG is Correlated to Fatty Liver

For what its worth my SHBG was low teens 6 months ago but is now low 20's after I started taking thyroid medication. Hypothyroid is a known cause of low SHBG. This could be some people's issues. I felt nothing from TRT until I added in thryoid meds. (I have commented this on a few low SHBG...

No supps and I did fast for 11 hours. Maybe next time I'll fast longer and eat very little iron the day before blood draw.

    Low SHBG and Testosterone Management

My SHBG rose from low teens to low 20's in about 6 months after supplrmenting thyroid hormone. Not saying that will work for you or is an appropriate course of action but that was my experience.

    New Test Results

I really kind of stopped my paleo / low carb dieting in early December. Numbers looked good, I looked good, but I was just so tired and felt like shit constantly. My ALT/AST have always been in low 20's so this is definitely concerning. Yes, planning on decreasing NDT dose from 3 to 2.5...

Vince - I recently moved off of low-carb. Hated every second of it. Certainly made my labs nicer though. I think I have been havibg too much sugar also. Healthman - I have never donated. What could this mean? I eat a lot of red meat.

Lack of Orgasm and Weak ejaculation on testosterone injections.

With prolactin that low, maybe you were (are) hypopituitary? What were your pre-TRT levels (including LH)?

    Aspirin for ED

Taking Vitamin K (MK-4) with the aspirin apparently helps with that, Ratbag.

Restarting after 8 years of TRT

I disagree here. True, Clomid will raise SHBG but this is a temporary thing. OP's LH / FSH has been shutdown for 8 years now. Clomid should turn the power on back up there. Going cold turkey after 8 years would be a poor option in my opinion.

E2 levels for low SHBG guys

Looking good! Was just wondering because you seem to need a lot of the AI. .25mg EOD would put me way too low.

E2 levels for low SHBG guys

Vince, do you carry much body fat? Or no? Thanks, just curious.

    Ed !!!!

One other thing worth mentioning...I am a low SHBG guy. Thyroid meds...are supposed to increase SHBG. Mine increased from 12 to 20 (starts meds mid SEP, tested early NOV 2017). I was hoping my SHBG would continue increasing as there is a mechanism. Maybe it increased too much? Lol
  28. M

    Ed !!!!

Yeah I was off dairy for about 4 years. But I am really having no stomach issues so I feel like I am tolerating it very well surprisingly. I re-introduced it early December, ED began a month later. I guess there could be a connection there. Wonder if my excess calcium intake is not balanced...
  29. M

    Ed !!!!

Don't believe so. Took .375mg over 4 days. If anything ED improved slightly after AI. This has been going on for almost a month now. But until I get labs I suppose this is just speculating.

    Ed !!!!

Nelson - correct, T and thyroid should be optimized (labs on Monday to confirm). Sleep - actually really good lately. Sleep has been an issue for me for a while but not of late. Stress - no extra stress that I am sensing. If anything less. Feeling really good minus the ED.
