hey Lexer, great post. if I were not symptomatic, I would agree with you 100%. My labs numbers look pretty good. For months I have been experincing muscle pain especially around the quads (IT bands mostly) and have developed plantar fasciitis (which really sucks because I love getting outdoors...
apologies, was about to step onto the ballfield for warmups.
TSH 2.03 range .4 - 4.5 mIU/L
T4 Free 1.2 range 0.8 - 1.8 mg/dL
T3 Free 3.2 range 2.3 - 4.2 pg/mL
reverse T3 16 range 8 - 25 ng/dL
It doesn’t hurt to order xtra labs for piece of mind imho, but changing course two weeks into a protocol change because of that result is not something I would advise. Repeat again in another 4 weeks prior to your next dosage to get your trough level and discuss an appropriate protocol change...
Sub optimal t3 and t4, high reverse T3, cold hands and feet, dry skin etc... starting very slow. Starting with half a grain and Titrating up 1/2 grain every two weeks to up to two grains.
I have thought that same thing myself. I’m on 500iu 2x per week to start but just couldn’t shake the feeling that I may be missing something not trying it so am willing to give it 6 months to a year, Pull some labs and continue the “N of one” saga. If I feel no benefit, I’ll stop.
I’ve been away for a bit. Crazy work and baseball schedule. In the time away I have had a consult with Defy Medical regarding their supplemental HCG program. I can’t say enough about the team and the experience so far. The intake was easy, appointment was scheduled swiftly, the PA that did my...
I agree with Vince. Definitely need a full panel of labs and reference ranges. Including CBC, CMP, lipids, thyroid including ft4, ft3, reverse t3, antibodies, dht, iron, ferritin, fasting glucose, hba1c
What is your diet like? Are you diabetic, pre diabetic, insulin resistant? Any thyroid...
To answer your questions, for a lot of people yes it does get better. Some no. As far as an AI, I believe most would agree to hold off until you have been on a steady dose and frequency for a minimum of 6 weeks, then assess if an AI or a change in dose or frequency is warranted. You are...
i feel fantastic. When I’m @ 70ish for E2 I notice some water retention, a little weight gain and some bloating. At this level, nothing. I try and take Adex as little as possible. LH and FSH were pulled for my intake labs for Defy. I’m interested in their HCG program as I have never tried it.
if you are on the fence about trying metformin, Nelson has a link to another post in the earlier part of this thread that will take you to an article on the benefits of taking metformin and a podcast presentation he did with Jay Campbell. They are both excellent and would be well worth your...
I started metformin today. 500 mgs twice daily. Think I’m going to start with one at night for a week then move to twice a day. Give my gut a chance to adapt to it.

Are you doing low carb primarily? Same thing happens to me when I’m doing low carb/keto. Try looking up the “dawning phenomenon”. When I track my highest readings are first thing in the morning (anywhere between 94-111 and my a1c was 5.1 when last tested) and they go down progressively as the...
I use the precision xtra as that also tests ketones. The strips are pricey (glucose not as much as the ketone strips) but can usually find good deals on eBay or amazon.
I had an issue with echeck using a checking account I opened a few years ago and have never used. This would have been the first purchase I have used with that account. I am not comfortable using a credit card with them. That’s just me. I’m going to use Defy’s HCG support program to get some...
