Thank you. There's no doubt in my mind this would not have been caught if it wasn't for exactly what you mentioned above, great doctor, proper labs & being an informed patient.
What a day! After an exhaustive effort to expedite an MRI, where insurance "mistakenly" hassled me over the prescription I immediately had from Dr. Saya... I had the MRI.
I wasn't out of the machine one minute when the nurse told me that the radiologist wanted me to go to the ER immediately. I...
Good God you hit every point! Well said. Eliminating insurance & Government paid HC would alleviate thisinflated mess we're all in for sure... but it will never happen!
I Found an imaging center that will "allow" me to pay cash for the MRI (don't tell them you have insurance, if they have an...
I felt the exact same way going through this. An Endo would love for me to walk in there with the proper MRI! I understand your model completely & am torn between paying out of pocket vs. the damn insurance. I would pay out of network in a heartbeat, but going through purchasing a home right...
Still at square one with this MRI.
6/14/17 - Insurance (really good insurance too) will not cover an MRI that is prescribed out of network. postponed MRI to see if family doctor would prescribe the MRI.
6/15/17 - Family doctor would not prescribe MRI, said it would cause trouble with...
Thank you Dr. Saya, your staff has been excellent! MRI scheduled for next Thursday. I have not experienced any visual field deficit. I have good vision & have never worn glasses. I wouldn't say I have noticed any visual impairment that wasn't related to age & it's very minor if at all.
Ughh... same result! Actually, this one has a "greater than sign". >4700
apparently I am unable to add a photo today... so here's the link: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B23WcVO0cdYsY2ZTaWthLUNYVkU
One slight problem. Your staff reacted Monday morning so quickly with the script for the blood work that I didn't prepare ahead of time and had something to eat roughly five hours before the test. Also had coffee. will this skew the results?
Thanks Vince. I was well informed on the 48 hrs rule. Definitely refrained from all activities, didn't even look at the victoria secret catalog when it came in the mail! As for negative symptoms & Estradiol... I really don't know what negative symptoms to look for. I'll have to read up on that...
Hey guys. I took your advice and started with Defy. paid for extensive bloodwork including Prolactin & a few others. not sure what it all means, but prolactin, estradiol, LH & Dihydrotestosterone seem way off. Anyway, I posted it under the proper place for lab result analysis. I would appreciate...
Just got my lab results. Paid for a little extra after reading a bunch on this forum (thank you all for that). I really don't know enough to decipher this stuff. I don't know what to be concerned about or what it all means... but I know how I feel & it's not great after my testosterone is back...
Been waiting a week now to hear back from Defy after submitting a request for consultation on their website. I am thinking about moving forward with a bloodtest. I think it would be useful to have a comprehensive panel completed since it's now 3 months I'm on androgel. Money is not a concern...
Does anyone recall how long it takes for them to get in touch with you after submitting a request via their website for a consultation? I requested a consultation about a week ago & haven't heard back from anyone.
I would. I recall seeing a post in the past from Nelson I believe. Is that what you're talking about or is there an update or something else I should reference?
I was on TRT before & stopped to save a few bucks. felt like crap for a couple years. Had blood work done in March before I found this site. I'm sure my doctor isn't an expert on treating this & my blood panel is probably not sufficient, but I would like some feedback & advice on what to do...
