Clomid increased but Testosterone is dropping...what next???
Actually I just checked with my son again. He said there is definite improvement in his agitation level. He no longer feels ready to explode like he did several weeks ago. Would that improvement be consistant with the his high estrogen levels coming down? It's fatigue and lack of drive persist...- Anne Marie

When his dose increased from 7.5mg EOD back to 12.5mg EOD he happened to have one more 7.5mg capsule left. I had him take that on an "off" day so for a three day period he took 12.5, then 7.5, then 12.5 and continued on with the 12.5 EOD. Right after this three day period he felt better and...- Anne Marie

My son has primary pituitary and primary thyroid issues. He just turned 20. He is now on growth hormone injections, clomid, anastrozole, levoxyl, vit D, vit B12 and iron. Thanks. My son did have the sensitive version of the test done before starting treatment but that version was not rerun. We will need to do that. We saw his endocrinologist yesterday and he was pleased with the numbers and will rerun them again in four weeks. Hopefully by then my son will...- Anne Marie

Dr Saya- So if a person has had a growth hormone stim test and been documented as true AHGD will clomid work for their low T? Should they even bother trying clomid first before trying testosterone? Let's assume that there is no known reason (trauma, radiation, tumor) for a pituitary problem...- Anne Marie

Thanks for these sensitive replies. He is young and has been suffering for a while. We suspected endocrine issues since he was 14 but the two endocrinologist he has seen have been terrible. His current labs clearly indicate real problems in need of treatment but I really need to find a doctor...- Anne Marie

19 yr old functioning poorly for years
Just realized I typed THS not TSH. Yes, his TSH is testing high, it was 6.9 his week. We also just got the Anti TPO result yesterday, that was negative (<6). So extremely low T (144 now) and normal LH 5.4 (1.7-8.6) and normal prolactin 10.7 (4-15.2) and estrodiol 32 (8-43) would be PRMARY...- Anne Marie
