When I travel I've always taken my HCG in a thermos and keep it on ice the whole time, and always leave it in my suitcase when I don't need it so I don't accidentally leave it behind. As long as I remember to top off the ice every 24-32 hours or so, it's no bother.
I've experienced the same thing, sensitivity and all. It's remarkable… it makes me wonder if it's somehow restoring dormant pathways in my brain.
Back before Cialis went generic I only used it sparingly because it was so expensive, but it always worked great. I then started using Empower's...
Yeah, don't mess around with that. Get the phlebotomies. When I used to do them I only needed to have it done once every two to three months.
Side note: now that I'm on a daily injection schedule, hematocrit is no longer a concern for me, but I understand that's not true for everyone who's...
Been doing daily for a couple years now and I've never seen an advantage to preloading. I think I spend more time flossing than I do loading my syringe every day.
From what I've read here, it seems like an individual thing. Not everyone has luck with ED injections, and for me, lower hematocrit was an unexpected bonus. I've been doing ED for two years now and absolutely love it.
It felt weird the first time, but I got used to it.
Having said, I don't do phlebotomies anymore because I am one of the people who have benefited big time from daily injections… my hematocrit now sits around 42, whereas on weekly or even twice-weekly injections it was always over 50.
The opposite is true for me. I had to *increase* my weekly total on a daily protocol.
I was previously on 140 mg a week with a peak in the 1100s, and on a daily protocol, in order to reach my target steady state in the 900s I have to do 24 mg a day (168 mg total per week). When I tried...
Yeah, I would say lower your dosage a tad, but not too much.
I totally relate to the joy of social anxiety relief… you don't want to mess with a good thing. I wasted way too much time early on trying to make lower, mid-range T numbers work for me. My body just wasn't having it.
I do 500 IU EOD. That dose was prescribed to maintain fertility, not just size. But I have a long history of starting and stopping HCG, upping and lowering and upping my dosage again. It was making me crazy. Once I was able to just hold it in the road, things got a lot better. But it didn't...
Yikes, I'm wracking my brain to figure out how an HCG cream would even work.
I suspect a dose of 15 IU is too low to be worth your while, anyway, so it's probably just as well that particular dose didn't work for you. How often were you injecting HCG? And what's your T protocol?
I've had...
Yeah well, they work for me. I've lost weight on them, as well, as long as I'm tracking calories. Soy protein doesn't scare me, I'm vegan and I eat it every day.
Clif Builder Bars, particularly the chocolate mint variety. Love those damn things. Fortified with all kinds of good stuff, not just protein.
They've proven really useful for me in controlling my appetite… they're so good they help keep my cravings under control for the junkier stuff.
Thank you Vince & Vince!
Yeah, I was actually surprised to see my SHBG still so low on the ref range (16.5 - 55.9 nmol/L), even though that's where it's been for most of the time I've been on TRT. My doc hadn't checked it in over a year, so in my head I was imagining it going sky-high, since...
Just got my new lab results after being on a daily protocol for about a year and a half, and they are spectacular. Dare I say it… after 5+ years of TRT, I think I finally have myself dialed in.
Current protocol is: average of 24 mg of t-cyp daily, and 500 IU of HCD every other day. No AI.
I...
Personally, after going to daily T shots (22 mg a day, no AI), I noticed that my prescribed HCG dosage (500 IU EOD) started to make me feel paranoid every other day. Since lowering my dosage to 350 IU EOD, I feel miles better, sexually as well. I think something about having steady state T...
Wow, those are really good numbers. That sucks that you're having trouble with the side effects. I'm intrigued by the daily HCG protocol, though. Was that your doctor's recommendation? Never seen that prescribed before.
For your side effects though, certainly with the acne and possibly the...
Well, more useful would be an earlier protocol before my doc prescribed phlebotomy and anastrozole. When I was injecting 200 mg once a week with no AI (and this wasn't even my peak at the time):
Total T: 1130 ng/dL
Free T: 30.1 pg/mL
e2: 60 pg/mL (non-sensitive)
HCT: 50.3
Hematocrit had...
Daily injections may not work for everyone, or improve everyone's hematocrit, but it sure as heck has worked for me. Dramatically so. My hematocrit is back to where it was before I ever started TRT, around 43-44. Since I have hypertension that gets worsened by high hematocrit, this is worth its...
Wow, that sucks. I've had no issues with LabCorp so far… I've been to see them twice now through DiscountedLabs, at two different locations in Houston. Both times I went in, I had no appointment, no wait, and no hassle.
My hematocrit has been well-controlled since I switched to daily T injections, about 14 months ago. I inject 22 mg (.11 cc) once a day. Hematocrit has consistently been around 43-44 without phlebotomy for almost a year now. Before it would almost always sky-rocket over 50 (which made my...
I've never had any luck with anastrozole. Either it did nothing, or it crashed my e2 and ****ed me up badly. I could never figure out where the happy medium was. It's one of the reasons I started doing daily T injections.
John - Let us know how it goes! After having my bags lost on my way to Ireland a few years ago, putting my meds in my carry-on sounds far more appealing.
Josh - Make sure you check your hematocrit, too. TRT can often cause it to rise, and if it's too high that can definitely raise your blood pressure. That's what happened to me... I was already being treated for hypertension and I had to double my medication until I figured out what was going on...
I've been on various combinations of vasodilators and thiazides since 2005, about six years before my low T problems started, and I can't say I've ever noticed them causing ED side effects. I've done valsartan-hydrochlorothiazide and losartan-hydrochlorothiazide, as well as valsartan on its own...
