Year over Year Labs: Low-T symptoms still strong

I still feel "meh" but testosterone numbers seem to be trending positive as result of dhea/preg and lifestyle changes. Glucose is after fasting 8-12hrs. Taking 30-45mg Zinc/day along with 25mg DHEA/10mg Pregnenolone. When AM Erections occur they are weak and go away quickly before I get out...

    26 y/o 374 tt, trt?

In this thread a user documents an amazing recovery of total-t on 12.5mg Clomid EOD for 2-weeks followed by 1.5-weeks of 5mg Nolva EOD. These are VERY low dosages and the two SERMs were not run concurrently so that makes the rise even more impressive for 3.5-weeks of treatment.

Low normal test, super low E2, if TRT isn't the answer, what do I do?

There could be, and probably is more to it than that idea. So until you get more comprehensive testing, you should be consciously avoiding anxiety/obsession with the issue (says the guy posting on excelmale...Lol), get more sunlight exposure, and make all the right lifestyle choices to support...

Low normal test, super low E2, if TRT isn't the answer, what do I do?

Since you're LH is high and you're not aromatizing testosterone (low e2) then your total-t should be higher. However, it's not, therefore something is messing up the HPTA flow chart. Keeping in mind, estrogen and testosterone both negatively feedback on the hypothalamus/pituitary. The latter...

Low normal test, super low E2, if TRT isn't the answer, what do I do?

    1. Clomid raises LH/FSH, so this is not indicated for you. 2. Testosterone endo/or exogenous can help your symptoms. Median total-t for your age is around 650ng/dl.. 3. I suggest you calmly and copiously research the matter as you're in a unique situation and the root cause for your issue will...

    Can DHEA supplement cause anxiety?

Don't take our word for it, here's a couple links on DHEA/cortisol. Study showing DHEA can lower 24hr cortisol levels. Another one, showing DHEA can reduce evening cortisol levels. I'm not sure what your stress levels or cortisol numbers are, but you may want to checkout this page as well...

No libido! decent T, high HT, high SHBG, low Vit D

Ditto, you just need to get your stress under control. I'm in a similar situation as you (not enough sleep/high stress person), my numbers are similar as well. It's not unheard of for stress to weigh down your sex hormones like an anchor.

New Guy Here - Bad Protocol?

I strongly second this comment. I'm another 30yr old looking to sort myself out through supplementation and lifestyle rather than TRT. TRT should not be doled out so freely to young guys, shame on your doctor.

TRT not working how I'd hoped

250-500iu dose 2x/week usually 3-4days apart is what most guys are doing. Some people can be more sensitive necessitating a smaller dose, but a good rule is not to exceed 500iu per dose to avoid excess estradiol conversion.

TRT not working how I'd hoped

A lack of bioavailable/free-testosterone is what first comes to mind. But Gosh, it could be a lot of things, a lot of threads here discuss that topic, ideal levels, but low libido. The endocrine system is incredibly complex and you might go mental trying to figure out the role of...

TRT not working how I'd hoped

Oestradiol, UK spelling, of E2(estradiol) is taken in pmol/L so you're 103 is likely 28 pg/mL for us Americans...and that's in the ideal range. 20-30pg/mL is considered ideal. A .5mg dose will absolutely tank someone with your E2 levels and elicit the symptoms you just mentioned. Search...

Year over Year Labs: Low-T symptoms still strong

Diet is very "clean", eggs, bacon, veggies, meats/fish, coconut oil, avocado, potato/yucca/rice etc. Everything seems in order except for a bit more sleep, so I was hoping this panel or additional panels could show me where to look for a clue.

Ha, yeah, no offense really(Nelson's doing a lot of good for trt folks), it's just a little maddening to hear "don't change a thing". To be honest, I think there's probably a psychological bias out there towards someone presenting my total-t levels and complaining. While ya'll folks who had...

Much longer than even testosterone undecanoate, it's a patented suspension apparently. "Following intramuscular administration of this depot formulation the release rate is characterised by a half life of 90±40 days." https://www.medicines.org.uk/emc/medicine/15661

TRT not working how I'd hoped

Test at 21 should be nmol/L so 600ng/dL for us Americans. Someone with more knowledgeable will chime in shortly, but your testosterone dosing should be smaller/more frequent to avoid the excess aromatizing to estrogen, which is clearly what you're experiencing. Also, are you getting a 1000mg...

Indeed, they don't look bad and I'm certainly not about to hop on any meds. However, what about my issues from recovery to mood/libido/anxiety/glucose control these surely are a sign my levels should be MUCH higher. HCG Only Treatment for Low Test

After Re-Rides extensive response, there's not much else to be said. I can however point you towards two guys who experienced hCG monotherapy success. Based on research and personal experience, ALL of your symptoms speak to your testosterone level being VERY low, especially for you age and workout habits. You aren't likely to resolve any of those symptoms until you hit 600+ total-t. TRUST ME, I feel terrible even at 500ng/dl with 13.5pg/ml...

Why Clomid Fails: The Zuclomiphene Threshold

There are many variables (severe understatement) to predicting an individuals reaction. The only way to know is by individual experimentation. Why Clomid Fails: The Zuclomiphene Threshold

Arimidex will of course control e2, but only aromasin/exemstane would help with lowering SHBG. Arimidex also tends to lower the effectiveness of SERMS(clomid/nolva) so that's a contraindication as well. It's unfortunate that clomid and nolvadex both have the tendency to increase SHBG...
