PT-141 is the peptide being referenced. Usually comes in 10mg vials to be reconstituted with 1 cc of bac-water. 10 units on an insulin syringe becomes a 1 mg dose.
Defy Medical sells the stuff, and it's pretty dog gone expensive. It's unpredictable as to when the effects will kick in, but...
This getting older business isn't for sissies!
My wife was doing the pellets, but they didn't last as long as they should have (metabolized quickly). She was good for about a month on the pellets, then they started wearing off. Besides that, she didn't like the scars on her back side. I'm a...
First off, my vial clearly indicates that the contents are TriMix (not Lyo Injection). Not sure what this "Lyo Injection" stuff is.
Looking on the back side of the vial, it indicates to reconstitute with 5 ml of bac-water. The photo is a little out of focus.
I'm not so sure you received...
What do the instructions indicate?
When I get my Trimix from Empower Pharmacy, the instructions clearly state to mix with 5 ml of bac-water and they include a 10 ml syringe as well as the bac-water.
This doesn't look anything like what I receive, so...refer back to the instructions that came...
My wife started down the path of Tcyp shots. Doc had her set as a "high flyer". Her test levels were significantly elevated. Aromatase happens, so it also boosted her estrogen levels. Her libido was good (really good)...for a while. Then she started growing facial hair which led her to...
Not sure what they mean by "getting fatter in the process". In my experience with semaglutide, I not only lost weight but my waist got smaller, my "dad bod" belly melted away, and it helped reduce my blood pressure (due to the weight loss). I didn't lose any muscle mass or strength. For me...
Do know that Defy can and will write or call-in prescriptions to a local pharmacy. Then you can use your insurance to pay for those medications. Defy does charge a call-in fee though. Haven't priced Androgel (never tried it myself), so unsure if there would be significant cost savings taking...
In my case, I switched from a urologist to Defy...mainly because the urologist was stubborn and wouldn't listen to his patient [me]. He wouldn't test E2, didn't look at SHBG...would only test for total T and total E. It was obvious [to me] that he simply didn't know how to effectively treat...
Arithmetic for 10 mg diluted with 1 ml of bac water is listed above in the previous reply.
Simple: 10 mg diluted with 1 ml of bac water equates to 1 mg of PT-141 for every 10 units on an insulin syringe.
Basic arithmetic here:
Can't imagine why you'd mix this with 3 ml of bac water. You're making it hard on yourself. Make it easy: Mix 10 mg of PT-141 with 1 ml of bac water. 10 units on an insulin syringe will be 1 mg of PT-141 that way.
Vial contains 10mg. You reconstituted it with 3ml of...
There are many reputable compounding pharmacies that make this combination in troche form. It may work for some, but wasn't all that great for me (and apparently Nelson had a similar experience).
I see this concoction as another way to make extra money.
Depends on the concentration of the t.cyp in the vial. With 200mg/ml, yeah - going to be difficult to get that to measure out even in the tiniest insulin syringe. With 50mg/ml (common compounded dosing for women), 3 mg be a little easier to measure.
Be careful with the AI. At 2 mg per week, you'll likely crash E2 and end up with worse symptoms.
I had high estrogen. The idiot urologist I was seeing had me taking 1 mg of Anastrazole per week. That crashed my E2 levels big time and I felt horrible as a result. I finally ended up...
You've made an excellent decision. I've been with Defy for several years, after exhausting efforts with local docs and urologists that I kicked to the curb because they don't know what they're doing. The folks at Defy know their stuff, and they have the ability to treat more than just HRT. I...
Nope. I'm on traditional testosterone cypionate injections. I reached out to Defy to get going on HCG due to the atrophy associated with testosterone injections. I did this because the idiot urologist I -was- seeing wouldn't prescribe HCG. I've since kicked that urologist to the curb and now...
Yes, it's 2% Lugol's solution. I'm using between 3 and 5 drops in a glass of orange juice about 2 to 3 times per week...mostly when I wake up feeling sluggish (lack of energy). Sometimes I go a week or so and don't feel the need for it.
Dialing in my thyroid was a 5-year adventure. To recap...
FWIW, I started with Defy -only- for HCG. I was visiting a urologist for TRT and my PCP for other age-related issues (BP, etc.). Eventually, I kicked my urologist to the curb and turned all my TRT over to Defy. I had learned enough from Defy about TRT and came to the conclusion that my...
Your thyroid numbers do -not- indicate any thyroid issues. Yeah, your TSH is a bit on the high side, but it's still in range. Can thyroid issues trigger libido issues too? Yes! In your case though, I seriously doubt it.
In my case, I have Hashimotos. At one point, FT4 and FT3 were in the...
Want the truth? Go get a cardiac calcium test performed. It's like a MRI, but measures the amount of blockage in your heart (i.e. are you a candidate for a stint or bypass surgery). If your left ventricle [the widow maker] isn't significantly clogged and you don't have total cholesterol above...
100 units on an insulin syringe = 1cc.
For example, I use a 3/10cc syringe. I have 10mg of PT-141 dissolved into 1cc of bac-water. 1/10cc = 1 mg, so 10 units on the syringe.
So if you're using a 6/10cc syringe, the measurement is still the same (presuming 10mg of PT-141 dissolved into 1cc of...
So you have a vial of PT-141 and it contains 10mg of the peptide, correct? How much liquid is there in that vial? 1cc? The amount of liquid in the vial sets the ratio.
If your vial contains 1cc of liquid, it's simple arithmetic:
100 units on an insulin syringe is 1cc. For 1mg, you'd use 10...
I had a completely different experience with NDT. Started on NatureThroid...then a shortage occurred. Transitioned to WP Thyroid...then it was recalled. Ended up going with Armour Thyroid.
I could never get T4, T3 and TSH in range with NDT drugs. I have high RT3 and very elevated antibodies...
Didn't mention what your reverse T3 levels. For me (Hashimotos), I have to run high FT3 to overcome the effects of high RT3. Haven't noticed any joint pain. Doc just told me to be on the lookout for being "jittery" (like you've had too much caffeine).
I do fine with doses up to 2.5 mg - a little light flushing soon after the shot, but no nausea. I tried a 3 mg dose once. Won't do that again. It made me sick as a dog (like I'm howling up my socks).
I mix the 10 mg vial with 1 ml of bac. water. On an insulin syringe, 10 units = 1 mg that...
I would think that the PT-141 in this would have to somehow bypass the blood-brain barrier. You'll likely have to let it dissolve under the tongue so it's absorbed through the mucus membrane.
Interested to hear more about this, so going to stay tuned and let others chime in.
