Is Lithium Orotate the Key to Preventing Alzheimer’s Disease?

While I totally support Lithium supplementation, as Dr Bredesen has shown, there is no one single "key" to dementia. Many factors are involved.

The dissapointment is real. Poor effect from Invicorp.

If you can adjust dosage upward, that would be the next thing to try. I also found beet root powder to work well, however I have also seen no benefit from arginine/citrulline.

The dissapointment is real. Poor effect from Invicorp.

Invicorp sounds like BiMix? There are lots of variables on this topic. Trimix is another option. There are threads here on dosage and whether you are injecting in the right spot. No reason to give up, you have to narrow down the variables. Using a Nitric Oxide supplement (I use n1o1) could help...

    Should I try?

Many things could cause your symptoms beyond T. The GLP-1s alone cause similar issues in some people. I always recommend the book Perfect Health Diet as a dietary home base. What does your diet, sleep, stress level, and nutritional supplementation look like? What does your gym/activity look like?

    Ideal protocol for trialing TRT?

That could be another option but I've never tried it. It would likely be more suppressive but might still be workable depending on how much of a boost the Clomid/Enclo provided.

    Ideal protocol for trialing TRT?

I don't know. I am blessed with resilient hair, but for those who are prone to hair loss it might be an issue. There are other low-suppression compounds one could substitute (e.g. turinabol , anadrol) but I used Oxandrolone since it is available through official channels in the US and I don't...

    Ideal protocol for trialing TRT?

Such a program would be to provide a mild boost for athleticism, injury recovery and/or body composition while maintaining T levels at or above baseline. A conservative starting program might look like 12mg of Enclomiphene every other day and 10-15mg Oxandrolone pre-workout before your 2-3...

    Ideal protocol for trialing TRT?

Most people want a quick fix, but when you dive into the other things that can improve energy, mood, brain function, etc., there are a whole world of things that get almost no attention but which add up to a major amount of influence. Things like Lithium, low-dose niacinamide, creatine...

    Ideal protocol for trialing TRT?

There are a concerning number of reports, some of which you can find in other threads here, of people who tried TRT and had it change something about their dopamine/neurotransmitter pathways in a way that did not return to normal. I'm not aware of any reliable stats on this but it has certainly...

    Ideal protocol for trialing TRT?

Clomid/Enclomiphese "tricks" the body into signaling for more T so it only has that affect while it's being used. Whether benefits would continue past its use is unknown for an individual but unlikely. Note that there are reports of people who messed themselves up, especially in the sexual...

    Ideal protocol for trialing TRT?

My two cents...I think your thinking here is correct. No matter what your numbers some guys respond better than others and it is in your interest to see how you respond. You might be a good candidate for Clomid or Enclomiphene which is how I started. A low dose (12mg every other day) is low risk...

    Long-Term HCG Monotherapy Results

    My cancer battla

There are a number of posts here describing the Testosterone "pulse" therapy pioneered by Dr Samuel Denmeade where he uses periodic high doses of T (I seem to remember something like 600mg of Test Prop every 6 weeks, or something like that) as anti-Prostate cancer therapy. I've wondered about...

Thanks for the update. We don't get enough long-term updates here. I hope you have a complete, speedy and permanent recovery.

Daily Test Prop and the need for HCG

It sounds like starting with Enclomiphene or Clomid at a low dose (e.g. `12mg every other day, for example) might be a good first step since your natural production would, if anything, increase. Lithium Orotate or Acetate is also know to help with stress. Regarding test suspension, you would...

Daily Test Prop and the need for HCG

A lot of the answer here depends on what your priorities are. Are you trying to maintain fertility? If so I expect you would want HCG in the mix. Are you trying to improve athleticism? Low dose Oxandrolone might be a better option. Is mood the priority? Test suspension might do what you need...

    Cut and bulk phases

I agree that traditional bulking and cutting is a bad idea (it runs totally counter to the principle of consistency, which is the number one problem for most people) but varying diet within a weekly timeframe works well for me. I focus high protein in the 18 hours after a heavy workout and then...

TRT no response after 4 years of Quitting

If I'm interpreting this correctly, it sounds like your SIBO and digestive issues are still unresolved. That could cause so many other issues that IMO you need to get that completely resolved first and then see where you stand with the rest of your health. There are options beyond anti-biotics...

Hip Replacement Surgery on TRT- Experiences

I agree with everything Nelson said. For general pain, Boswellia extract has made a difference for me, and full-strength basic aspirin is often overlooked but is also quite effective and relatively safe for most people. Some people benefit from XXX oil capsules. I find diclofenac effective for...

    Kidneys messed up?

There are apparently confounders that raise creatinine like creatine use and possibly recent hard exercise. eGFR is a calculated number IIRC and is based off of creatinine. I use the cystatin C test which is apparently much more accurate. There is another test I have forgotten the name of which...

HUBERMAN'S, ATTIA'S, FERRIS, AND OTHER INFUENCER'S COGNITIVE & MOOD SUPPLEMENT PROTOCOLS

I'm least familiar with AH of the people above but I'm suspicious of people who didn't get kicked off of YouTube during covid, and his recent anti-alcohol focus is IMO off-base on a number of points as Chris Masterjohn and Mark Sisson among other have also pointed out. The common thread I...

HUBERMAN'S, ATTIA'S, FERRIS, AND OTHER INFUENCER'S COGNITIVE & MOOD SUPPLEMENT PROTOCOLS

Inability/unwillingness to do a background check from credible (non-mainstream) sources and/or use a search engine to do the due diligence Joe Rogan claims to have done in a matter of minutes also partially explains some very high-risk/low-reward health advice. And that's assuming nothing worse...

HUBERMAN'S, ATTIA'S, FERRIS, AND OTHER INFUENCER'S COGNITIVE & MOOD SUPPLEMENT PROTOCOLS

While there are some worthwhile things here, this shows the problem with mainstream influencers who are really gatekeepers for mainstream medicine. Every health intervention needs to start with removing the cause of the problem, which in the case of cognitive issues is IMO best captured by Dr...

New Page: ExcelMale Top 50 TRT FAQs

This is a fantastic resource! Another type of FAQ list to consider (although perhaps too controversial) are considerations for selecting a provider since we see many posts from people who seem to be getting guidance from biased or narrow-thinking providers. Some examples could be: - Option...

    Improved transurethral medication for ED.

I looked at Akina's site and there was no mention of this product. I have not had time to reach out to them but they don't look like they are easy to do business with from my first impression.

    Peptides for arthritis?

I'm happy to hear you're making progress. I looked back through this thread and I didn't see whether you have tried BPC patches (not injections, not oral). I've tried a bunch of things for what I think is a combination of a sciatic nerve issue and a hip joint issue, and the patches seem to be...

Metformin Decreases Muscle Gain and Strength in Seniors

1700mg per day is, to me, an insanely and unnecessarily high dose. Constant use would make it worse. I use 250mg of metformin (or berberine) prior to a high carb meal, and that is only once or twice per week. I also try to make sure I have some light activity after such a meal which further...

The Molecule Behind Energy, Recovery, and Aging (And How to Protect It)

I've seen other Doctors (e.g. Elizabeth Yurth) make the case that the best way to raise NAD is to reduce the enzyme that breaks NAD down (which Apigenin does, among other things.) It doesn't look like they cover that here.

from needles to pills: the trt switch i didn’t expect to matter this much

I'm well aware, however my approach to lack of authenticity, whether human or machine (which, sadly, is becoming more common in both cases) is to respond with authenticity, which will hopefully encourage authentic responses from someone and benefit other readers. I'm actually kind of glad the...

from needles to pills: the trt switch i didn’t expect to matter this much

Nandrolone seems to help all around, however BPC and DMSO are my primary go-to's for joint pain, but I like having a small amount of N in the mix as well. As far as troches go, I always like to look for ways to improve and I seem to feel fractionally better when my T is at a trough, so perhaps...
