At my worst, I couldn't leave the house or sleep - the anxiety was unbearable. Blood sugar was always low. Light headed. Depressed. Horrible. HC helped me cope and slowly I got better. Winter is especially hard. The longer days will help you as Spring arrives. HC saved me, it really did.

If you dose properly as described you are NOT shutting your system down you are supplementing. You can always stress dose when sick or under extreme stress, but I would take the 10mg every day if needed or you will always just be coping and never get better. Just my two cents.

That is a low ferritin. Proferrin is expensive but a great Iron supplement. Not sure that is a high hemocrit.

Not necessarily. If he has low blood pressure or a rhythm issue, adding more could be problematic. We cant just look at how it treats ED and keep increasing dose.

While these may be good ideas, I doubt the cause of your issue. TRT made me feel much worse at the beginning and I needed HC. Still do.

I use 29g, takes a bit of time. Seems the right balance for ease and discomfort. I cant imagine 31g.
