Correct, I'm not taking an AI. I dose my T once weekly. Wouldn't splitting the dose keep my E2 at a more consistent level? By injecting once per week I should get a spike after injection and then wouldn't it fall much lower by the end of the week? I haven't been working out much lately due...- Hydranted

How can I raise my E2 level?
Recent bloodwork showed that my sensitive E2 level is at a 9 (3-70). Labs were drawn 5 days after my T injection. acne increase on T
Have you had your estradiol levels checked recently? Elevated E2 usually seems to be the cause of acne while on TRT.- Hydranted

What is the consensus on when to inject hCG while on TRT? Some say on days 5 and 6 before the weekly test injection. Others seem to prefer that the doses are spaced out a bit more between injections. Which have you found to be more effective?- Hydranted

Yes, just clean the site and you're good to go. When you switched brands of hCG, are you sure that it was the same concentration of the medication? Seems odd that you'd have such a drastic change from subQ to IM.- Hydranted

Once the needle goes in, aspirate (pull back on the plunger a little bit) to see if you're in a vein. If there is significant blood in the syringe you may be in a vein. Withdraw the needle and try again.- Hydranted

New Guy Here. TRT has been prescribed--but does my bloodwork warrant it?
If you're going to start out on 150mg/wk, talk to your doctor about splitting the injections into 75mg/E3.5D to ensure that your E2 stays in check. If you can avoid having to take an AI, that would be ideal.- Hydranted

Are 1" needles ok to use for glute injections?
I did some Googling and found conflicting opinions about this. Some say that a 1" needle isn't long enough to get deep into the muscle tissue and that some of medication will be poorly absorbed because of this. Thanks Nelson. Lesson learned here, I'll definitely be asking for powdered hCG for my next refill. My my protocol calls for 500iu of hCG on day 5 and 6 after my T injection but I will speak to my doctor about possibly increasing the dose during the first week. I just received my package of medication to find that the hCG has already been mixed. Not a big deal, just wasn't expecting that. Perhaps I'm worrying a bit too much, but should I be concerned that the premixed medication probably sat in a hot warehouse or in the back of a truck for 4 days...- Hydranted
