Kidney Concerns
I was going to suggest also the Cystatin-C with EGFR, I would not trust the basic Creatine test contained in a CBC. Do it FASTED, too. National Kidney Foundation takes issue with that test, too, as being a poor indicator of kidney function.- WhiteMale

Could 1 blood donation have crashed my ferritin?
My low Ferritin doesnt seem to cause me any problems. It's a number on a piece of paper and frankly don't test it any more. I was never able to raise it with regular HCT donations, but all the supplements and Vitamin C, etc etc As I say I can't see any negative impact, for me.- WhiteMale

You really haven't said a word about what symptoms, how you FEEL, is wrong here. You'v e only talked to numbers on a lab report which is usually the worst way to really approach this. Chasing numbers to an extent is very flawed.- WhiteMale

I strive to have my Sensitive E2 mirror my shbg number be in close proximity. You can be assured your free E is just as high as your free T, with shbg low. PSA value doubled in 6 months
another uninformed and knee jerk from a "Urologist". I woulda preferred to just take a digital exam at the time, repeat PSA testing over a few weeks, stopping cold turkey is absurd. IMHO- WhiteMale

Test ok but free T is low
Typically the only way you can see SHBG come down, at all, is high singular high doses of Test. Like E3.5d if not once per week. No other way to raise T if it's all bound up with SHBG.- WhiteMale

High Hematocrit after years on TRT
Your HCT did not drop 5 points in two weeks going off Test. Even with a 1 pint whole blood donation you can't drop 5 points.- WhiteMale
