Trans scrotal testosterone cream application is a game changer

I actually am fairly confident that I do not tolerate even moderate elevations of E2. I have lots of labs that correlate with feeling shitty and I have lots of anecdotal experience with using an AI and pulling myself out of a dump with it. I get it - there are lots of reasons why an AI is tricky...

Trans scrotal testosterone cream application is a game changer

Yes - I was titrating my dose. I had no intention of doing it forever. But, with a short acting agent, I think it's reasonable to play with the dose a little in the beginning before you settle and stick with something. My intention was to settle on the 100mg scrotal AM and 50mg PM. But, I felt...

    Accutane while on TRT?

I was on TRT the whole time. I’ve only been off for two weeks, so skin is still dry, but I do think the oil is starting to come back. Will give an update in the next few weeks if you want. As far as musculoskeletal pain, that seems to be mostly improved. Not perfect. But, I’ve also skyrocketed...

    Accutane while on TRT?

I just finished about six months. I had a ton of musculoskeletal pain while on it. Random places at random times. Impossible to say if it was accutane, but I am glad I am off.

    Empower text cream changed formula??

My newest cream seems "wetter" than my prior cream. That said, the prior cream is a few years old, so maybe it dried out.

Trans scrotal testosterone cream application is a game changer

For anyone curious about whether or not scrotal cream is efficacious, please read below: Context I used cream on and off for three weeks. I varied dose, location and cream strength (15% and 20%) to find an ideal protocol. Seven days prior to labs: Day 1 AM - 112.5mg shoulders PM - 50mg...

    Elevated BP and headaches.

I agree with @sammmy. I’m pretty confident that if you lower your dose, your symptoms will subside eventually. I doubt it’s related to iron.

    Elevated BP and headaches.

Agreed! I didn't realise he was taking the D. For sure, stop this.

    Elevated BP and headaches.

Good idea seeing your doc. It is somewhat common for females to get migraines around their menstrual cycle. It is believed that the headaches may be triggered by a drop in estrogen levels around their cycle. I see no reason why males may not have the same mechanism - ie, if you drop your...

    Elevated BP and headaches.

I am betting on the AI as the source of the headache. The headache itself can raise your pressure. But, the reverse is also true: elevated blood pressure can cause headaches. Let us know how your appointment goes.

    Natesto + Clomid

Did you feel better than on Natesto alone? How long after your Natesto dose was this blood draw?

    Reasonable logic. Appreciate your thoughts.

Trans scrotal testosterone cream application is a game changer

@RobRoy, if you are still around, I have questions: TLDR: If I were a patient of yours and told you most forms of TRT cause me headaches and sometimes migraines, how would you advise me? For further color, I hope you are willing to read below. I have zero interest in DHT and/or estrogen...

You are correct. No one "should" struggle. Unfortunately, people do.

Trans scrotal testosterone cream application is a game changer

These are great points. Finding the root cause is always preferable to starting supplementation. Also, nothing reproduces the natural endogenous production of testosterone. Some people have difficulty with adding it exogenously. That’s why forums like these exist.

Trans scrotal testosterone cream application is a game changer

Look, man, I am not trying to be argumentative. I didn't realize this thread had a contentious history until I looked book at old posts. My intention is not to revive all that. I am literally looking for answers. I am a long time struggler on TRT for various reasons. I want to feel good, and I...

Trans scrotal testosterone cream application is a game changer

Good suggestion. I have already considered this. I was only doing one click on the scrotum. I don't think half clicks are very consistent. So, I would have to get a different strength cream. I happen to have 20% and 15%, so I could drop the dose by changing the cream. That said, I decided to...

Trans scrotal testosterone cream application is a game changer

Anything is possible, but it doesn’t seem logical that the anastrozole would have the cardiovascular effects I experienced. Androgens, on the other hand, are well-known to do this. I am open to your explanation if you have one.

Trans scrotal testosterone cream application is a game changer

Good stuff. I didn’t read the entire JCEM paper, but it looks like a good design. Randomized and double-blinded. That said, the study population was hypogonadal, but not under treatment. So, like you pointed out, the findings may not translate in those with HPTA suppression. The reason I asked...

Trans scrotal testosterone cream application is a game changer

Since I am getting crickets on the above question, I'll ask another one: do we think anastrozole indirectly increases DHT? I found one paper that says yes, but is this generally accepted as true and reproducible? @madman, can you help me with a forum search question? I tried putting in the...

Trans scrotal testosterone cream application is a game changer

For any cream users, has anyone found better success applying to non-scrotal areas? I spent about two weeks applying some to the scrotum and some to the shoulder. I wound up with a number of terrible symptoms that convinced me I was way supraphysiologic. I am not sure I am ready to throw in...

Trans scrotal testosterone cream application is a game changer

Really what I was asking is the logistical nature of how you apply it if you are in your work setting. Wasn’t really asking about timing or dosing. Based on your comments above, I suspect you are not applying it in the work setting, but are doing it when you get home. Natesto is incredibly...

Trans scrotal testosterone cream application is a game changer

Gents, for those of you who are applying cream twice a day, I am curious how you go about your second application? If you still in your work setting, do you sneak off to a bathroom and toss the stuff on? I suppose this would be easier if you are doing scrotal, cause you just gotta drop your...

Beginner , TRT with Anastrozole and Enclomiphene

My intuition tells me that secondary is more common than primary because of our unhealthy society. Does anyone happen to know? Just curious.

Having a rough time since I lowered my Test dose....

Estradiol is a bit of a flashpoint in the TRT world. Some absolutely are adamant that men should not be messing with aromatase inhibitors to try to bring levels down. Others swear that they feel bad when their levels rise above a certain threshold. I tend to fall in the latter category. I think...

My dose has been too high?

If you don’t know your estradiol level, I’d recommend getting it checked with an ultra sensitive test and report back here. Lots of possibilities, but excessively high testosterone levels and/or estrogen levels can both cause what you are describing.
