Dr. Crisler, I am still confused regarding your general thoughts on overcoming SHBG. Seems to me an application for an agent like Proviron (not avail. in U.S.) or DHT. With possible complications for lipid levels like anti-estrogens.

I think Nelson's point about treatment simplification is an unfortunate commentary on the level of effort most of the population is willing or able to put forth. Which doesn't make it right. But that's the reality. That's why pills and gels, etc. rule the day. Workout? Eat right? Really?

prolactin too high?

I just wanted to mention that there are studies showing vit B6 , if I recall in the 100mg range, as effective to reduce prolactin levels. Might be worth checking on pubmed
