The Effect of Sleep on Your Hormones, Erections, Body and Quality of Life

Do we know the physiological reason for getting erections while we sleep? I've read that its important to have to keep the penile tissue healthy - sort of like lifting weights for the rest or your muscles. Is it during REM or only upon waking?

    low available T, low libido?

Found this, | Psychiatrist.com The neuropeptide bremelanotide is highlighted which targets dopamine, which is PT-141 that you mention. Its expensive stuff I see online so I want to try something that isn't bogus. Any suggestions on where to buy? Also, are there any commercial products that...

    low available T, low libido?

You've tried this? Sounds painful when using an alcohol based gel. The instructions say to not apply to genitals. Plus, my testicle is basically non-operational (after doing TRT for 15 years!).

    Need an opinion

"I am just trying to find the root of my problem and to stop masking the symptoms." That's what the meds are doing. This is the state of our health care system right now. Doctors and pharma are the only ones benefiting in terms of $. I agree with the poster who said to work at getting off the...

I replace all my hormones. Here is what I learned.

Do you have any before and after panels that you could show us?

    low available T, low libido?

Has anyone experimented with Cortisol for libido when all panels don't point to anything obvious? Though I understand its tough to measure and to replace.

Oops, I was thinking of DHEA (which someone else recommended) and not HCG! Got my acronyms FUBAR'd!

Just looking for opinion on blood test results

I'm not a body builder but I would say since you were on TRT and now you are not that it makes sense that you would lose some strength. Your SHBG is high and your T numbers are low. Not sure why you went off T but you might want to retry on a smaller dose.

    low available T, low libido?

This blood test was ~20 hours after the last application whereas normally I'm doing 5 or 6 hours. So these results would be a little lower than normal I would guess. So normally FT totals are just calculated and not measured? The Equilibrium Dialysis or Ultrafiltration methods are actually a...

    low available T, low libido?

HCG, doesn't that have to do with fertility? At age 65 that's certainly not a concern for me. :-)

    low available T, low libido?

Didn't know you could just buy T online (its a controlled substance). I thought you need a prescription from a doctor? I've often wondered if not taking T one week and then doubling the dosage the next week would make a difference? But probably the effects don't take place that quick to notice...

    low available T, low libido?

I do 81mg gel pump daily. These results were a fasted 7:30 am draw. Normally I do 3-4pm draw but this one I had panels that req fast. Also, I'm Primary HG (undescended testicle that never matured) so I've been low libido my entire adult life so its not aging.

    low available T, low libido?

I've been using TRT for years, originally due to low libido. I've found that even though my total testosterone was brought within the normal range (more on that later) I never really found any improvement in libido. I do know that if I'm not on TRT or on a too low dosage I'm not able to have an...
