    Cream is oily?

Same here brutha, each click a different amount will come out and takes a while for it all to come out. It definitely seems like there is some sort of separation of the ingredients. All I could get from the one pharmacist I did speak with was that the cream is made a high temperature, so high...

    Cream is oily?

I’ve received about 15 tubes from empower pharmacy and all have had a toothpaste like consistency (hrt heavy base). I got 3 new tubes and they are all very oily. Could this be from the heat during shipping? Do you think there would be any potency lost? I’m waiting on a return call from a...

    Androgel vs compounded cream

Do you apply full dose to your scrotum or other body areas? What are your total and free t and dosage used? I’m intrigued by the wide Individual variability that is seen among those on transdermals.

Must I donate blood while on TRT?

He’s been on 350 mg for almost 3 years now. My dad was involved in competitive powerlifting for a couple decades, along with that was some heavy aas use. I’m not sure if prior aas abuse would require a higher trt dose, I highly doubt from a lab value standpoint, but maybe from a symptom...

Must I donate blood while on TRT?

Unless you need above 200 mg to achieve symptom resolution, which admittedly will be a fairly small portion of people on trt. My dad needed 350 mg weekly to get 900 ng/dl and high 20’s free. Thank god he had a urologist well versed in trt and wasn’t afraid to give a higher dose

    Androgel vs compounded cream

I find this super interesting and I wonder what the mechanisms were that made you guys respond better to androgel. Is it possible the strength of the cream spiked testosterone and dht super high and that could be why? Is it the alcohol in androgel that slightly slows absorption time?

Does testosterone enanthate every 3 weeks make sense?

Unfortunately it seems like you have to hit the jackpot to find an endo or urologist well versed in modern trt practices. Either that, or they do know better and would risk their license by doing otherwise, not really sure. Trt clinics/telemedicine is the way to go and I really pray that doesn’t...

    Needle size

Depends on how much fat you carry on the glutes, but I think most can hit IM with 1” pin. I personally prefer sub q, but some get lumps and their testosterone levels go down significantly even though in theory it shouldn’t matter.

    Androgel vs compounded cream

The main problem with commercial testosterone gels for most people is the concentration is too low. I believe Androgel is 1.62% testosterone, most will not be optimized on that, but some will. If you really want to use gels for whatever reason, they make compounded gels in 10 and 20% strengths...

    Androgel vs compounded cream

I can’t imagine that gel based transdermals would effect the half life vs cream based transdermals. They both contain testosterone with no ester attached so that it can pass through the skin. With that being said, I’m not sure why the makers of Androgel chose gel over cream, actually seems like...

    Testogel to Cream

I actually think lower concentration transdermals can raise dht higher if both are applied non scrotally, because of local 5 ar saturation. Just a thought, but I’m from from being a fountain of hormone knowledge. Hope some of the smart fellers on here chime in, good luck brutha

    Testogel to Cream

if it’s 20% cream at about 50 mg and is applied to the scrotum, then yes it will most likely put you above upper dht reference range. I have no idea how the testogel raised your total and free t, but didn’t increase your dht, that makes zero sense to me. Also considering the 5 ar enzymes found...

    Testosterone Cream Success (Almost!)

I believe cream is best used as prn for those who cannot elevate dht on injections. I am on a cream only protocol and absolutely love it, but my libido is too high and will be switching to injections next month. For those that have had libido too high you’ll know exactly what I mean, makes it...

    Clinics for injections

There is a lot more than hormones that go into libido. With that being said, I always had a high libido pre trt and on injections, on the scrotal application of the cream my libido has been way too high at times. Defy has me cut the amount I apply to my scrotum in half and that helped a little...

    Clinics for injections

I use Empower’s 20% compounded cream at 6 clicks daily. Defy switched me to 3 clicks scrotum and 3 clicks non scrotal to knock dht down, I was in the 300’s ng/dl. I apply 3 clicks twice daily

    Shot site issues

Where on your quad are you injecting? It should be injected in the upper outer quad area, roughly where the pocket on pants would be. I’ve had issues in the past before I injected in the pocket area.

Update: Scrotal Application Compounded cream - Test results

Thanks for the post, super interesting! What were the differences in total and free t between scrotal and non scrotal application of the cream? Did you have dht rested and if so what were your levels when applied non scrotally? I wonder how much transdermals raise dht when applied to areas other...

I realize some might actually consider 200 mg cream too much and 50 mg X 2 daily is fine to start on as well
  22. B

    Cream application sites

The main thing is that the cream can be applied to the scrotum, whereas commercial gel like androgel, has alcohol and cannot be applied scrotally. Some gels like atrevis and PLO gel have no alcohol and are fine to be applied to the scrotum. The absorption might be the same, but androgel is 20.5...

    Cream application sites

We all understand symptom resolution is paramount, but to believe labs are not useful and needed it just silly. Especially with transdermals as the absorption varies so wildly from person to person. Especially if you switch from transscrotal application to alternate sites, as scrotal can have up...

    Cream application sites

Top of foot, front of neck, upper chest, wrist, forearms, and back of knee all seem to be areas with decent absorption for most

    Cream application sites

So when I apply the cream to a larger surface area like my forearms, cream disappears in about 10 seconds or so. On my scrotum in takes significantly longer.

    Cream application sites

Have you personally used inside of the arms exclusively or in combo with other sites? Did you get labs done with non scrotal application sites by any chance?

    Cream application sites

Anyone currently applying compounded t-cream exclusively to non scrotal areas? If so, what have labs shown for tt, ft, and dht? Thanks gents

    Testosterone Cream Success (Almost!)

DHT should stay elevated for much longer than that, as it takes longer to reach peak levels I believe. I think you need to experiment on yourself with different protocols and labs. I know labs can get super pricey real quick though and dht test is quite expensive by itself

Trans scrotal testosterone cream application is a game changer

4-5 hours per Keith Nichols. There is a research paper out there that displays this info, too lazy to post it now. 2 or 3 hours might be peak levels, I’m not sure off top of my head
