Oral Finasteride is pure poison. I tried it for a month many years ago and it took almost 6 months to return to normal. I haven't had any issues with the topical however.

I could only get my levels in the 500's on gel. My free T was not where I wanted it to be. Some guys don't absorb and metabolize gels very well.

Good observation and a great point. Dr. Crisler used to illustrate the natural rise and fall of testosterone and compare it to various protocols. He was a proponent of gel in that it mimicked the natural ebb and flow. Alas, some of us just don't do well on gel... myself included.
