Blood Work at 35 weeks of TRT

Hey Guys: I wanted to share my blood work with the forum here after 35 weeks of TRT. I sought out the therapy because my A1c had crept up to 6.4 last year, and nothing seemed to work to get it down. Scouring the internet I found that raising your T levels to the higher ranges has been very...

How Testosterone Fuels the Drive for Status

Awesome article........thanks for sharing Nelson. So funny, when I started TRT one of the fears my wife had with it was that I was going to become a "roid raged" jerk. I had to explain to her it was all about "well being" and confidence. When you have that, no displays of roid rage and being a...

    Restart After nine Months

Totally agree with this. When starting the TRT, you need at minimum 6 months to see where your "maintained" levels are going to be. Starting any other androgens alongside before you know for sure what your TRT is doing will only confuse things......and make you crazy!

    What size syringe/needle is best?

Vince, I've been out of the loop for just a little while. The syringe I use is the BD 1ml syringe. It's kind of long and skinny. I like it much better than the 3ml syringe because the plunger is so much smaller, thus not trying to push so much oil into the small needle. Seemed like there was...

    Unexpected Estrogen Spike

It takes a while to get "dialed in". I was very similar. We needed to continute to increase my Test Cyp weekls dose to get my T levels up.......I'm one of those high absorption rate guys. My weekly dose had started at 80mg/once a week. T levels only slightly went up, everything else was in...

    What size syringe/needle is best?

I too love the needles I received from Allegro. They sent me enough to last forever it seems like. I started using the 27g 1/2 inch .........I use the 1ml syringe, it goes nice and smooth and quick and painless! I go to the outer quads so I can see what I'm doing.

have you noticed @ Excel Male lately....

Absolutely! That's what makes this site awesome. It has helped me tons! I would not be on TRT if not for this site.

    injection sites

I'm currently using a 27g half inch needle injecting into my quads. I'm lean, so the half inch needle is fine. Have to be real patient with the injection with that size needle.

When to test for elevated E2

Stay connected on this forum.......keep monitoring all your levels every 6 weeks for the first year. Everyone responds and absorbs T differently. Yours will be unique to you. I'm finally hitting it great right now at week 26, it's awesome, there were some "wonder weeks" in between...

    Insulin resistance

Yep, insulin resistance was the main reason for me looking into TRT. TRT has greatly improved my A1c (from pre-diabetes range of 6.4 in Jan of this year). I started TRT in March, my 6 weeks labs in May showed my A1c down to 6.1, then by week 13 in July my A1c had reduced down to 5.7. I added...

Thanks for reviewing this Coastwatcher. Thanks too for your goodwill, I feel very lucky to have this board with guys like you taking time to look at labs and give comments. Maybe I'm Dialed in now at week 26!

I think now at week 26 I'm dialed in somewhat. The first 6 weeks, my total T rose to 579 and Free T at 14. Initial protocol was 80mg Test Cyp, one injection a week. No AI's, no HCG. We increased dosage to 120mg a week to increase the T levels. At week 13 I broke out with acne, my ankles and...

    Defy Medical Reviews

Yep, that's exactly what it came down to for me. My position was....."But I have insurance, can't we just run it through my insurance?" By the time it was all said and done, just not enough savings to go through the insurance.....plus no flexibility when we go through the insurance route...

Everything You Know About Cholesterol Is Wrong

Everything You Know About Cholesterol Is Wrong

Very nice article........thanks for sharing Nelson. I have what they call "high cholesterol" and was on statins for years. The high dosed statins literally induced pre-diabetes on me.........my A1C had progressed to 6.4. I've always been very lean, leanly muscled, never overweight. It took a...

I tried the med scripts........you can do it except for the testosterone. Unless you can save enough to cover your $30.00 charge for the script, really not...
