Clomid (and maybe more) with Defy

Can't be easy, right? Okay, so I went back through my Amazon order history and I first ordered the Legion Triumph on February 5. My timing in my post above was a little off. . Up until that time, I was taking Controlled Labs Orange Triad (which is what was reported on my Defy intake form)...

Clomid (and maybe more) with Defy

The Adapten-All arrived yesterday (lightning fast). This morning, I compared it to my multivitamin (Legion Triumph) just to be sure the vitamin complex in Adapten-All wouldn't give me astronomical doses of any vitamins when taking with the multi, and I learned that my multi has both rhodiola and...

Slight Stammer - Are Hormones Responsible?

Defy has me trying clomid (12.5mg ED), and after 6 weeks my e2 went from 30 to 70. I've been on 0.25mg anastrozole EOD for about two weeks now and haven't noticed any negative sides other than the mild nausea. I'll have bloods run in about 4 weeks to see where e2 is sitting.

Slight Stammer - Are Hormones Responsible?

I've been on 0.25mg anastrozole EOD for about two weeks and have noticed some mild nausea, but no constipation. It comes and goes, and some days I don't have it at all, but I have mild nausea quite frequently since starting.

Christina got the order fixed, so I'll be getting the 0.25mg capsules again.

Clomid (and maybe more) with Defy

Oh. She didn't mention that part. It's definitely not worth the small difference in price to risk inaccurate doses. I emailed her to ask if she can switch the order, but it may be too late.

Clomid (and maybe more) with Defy

Thanks, Dr. Saya. I spoke with Sam (who I had been emailing with) and Christina, and they got it all straightened out and placed the order for Adapten-All. Defy's prices for that particular product beat the prices I saw from various online retailers by a long shot, even accounting for...

Clomid (and maybe more) with Defy

Thanks, Dr. Saya. Good to know. By the way, would you recommend the Ortho Molecular Adapten-All as a good adaptogen? I believe Defy patients get a discount on Ortho Molecular products, so I assume that means they are quality? So far, it's the only adaptogen I've been able to find that has...

Are the benefits of TRT exagerated or is the clomid not working?

To echo Dr. Saya, I'm 35, and 12.5mg ED clomid (under Dr. Saya's care) sent my total T from 700 to above 1100 (and free T from 17.5 to 30.5). As noted in my thread about my own experience, so far those numbers haven't yielded a corresponding betterment in quality of life/alleviation of symptoms...

Clomid (and maybe more) with Defy

Absolutely, regarding patience. I'd rather figure all of this out the right way than rush into a treatment with more long-term effects that may not even remedy the underlying problem. I do wonder, however, whether traditional TRT is even an option for me, at least at this juncture. My natural...

Clomid (and maybe more) with Defy

That's an interesting question. I guess I would say a little of both. On the one hand, I'm almost two months into this journey without any noticeable improvement in underlying symptoms. I've invested a lot of time to educate myself and understand what is being examined and tested, and a not...

Clomid (and maybe more) with Defy

I had my second consult with Dr. Saya yesterday and wanted to update this thread. In reviewing my last round of labs, he was happy with my response to clomid so far (other than the elevated estradiol, which is being treated with anastrozole now). He believes there still is a chance I'll feel...

Clomid (and maybe more) with Defy

Yep. First clomid dose was February 27, so right at 2 months (this is the 8th week). Glad to hear (at least anecdotally) that the night sweats are not uncommon.

Clomid (and maybe more) with Defy

I took my third dose of anastrozole (0.25mg EOD), and am noticing a few things, some positive, some negative. The positive - bloating seems to be down a good bit from last week. Nipples seem back to normal, and my mood seems to have stabilized (at least back to baseline, which is a significant...

Just Started Clomid, Will Keep Forum Up to Date

I agree. If I were you, I would give it at least 6-8 weeks before making a decision. Your T numbers seem to be improving (though I would certainly check free T next time), and even at 50mg/day (a rather high dose), your sensitive estrogen is quite low. Do you have pre-clomid sensitive estrogen...

Clomid (and maybe more) with Defy

The anastrozole arrived Saturday (thanks again Defy for setting up the Saturday delivery), so I took one pill Saturday and one again this morning. Unfortunately I came down with an absolutely brutal stomach bug Friday night/Saturday morning (the joys of two kids in daycare) that put me in a...

Clomid (and maybe more) with Defy

That all makes sense. Like I said above, I've been much more on edge and impatient this week than is my norm, so my apologies if I've been overly dramatic about all this.

Clomid (and maybe more) with Defy

I meant to also say that according to my wife, I've been a complete ***** all week, whining and complaining about everything, so it's entirely possible I have overreacted a tad on this issue. I think that some of my frustration was warranted, but I, perhaps, fixated on it more than necessary...

Clomid (and maybe more) with Defy

I hear everything you're saying, and don't disagree. I have come to realize that this is one of the downsides of telemedicine (specifically telemedicine that requires a patient to use particular compounding pharmacies). If I go see my doctor locally, and he calls in a prescription, I can go pick...

Clomid (and maybe more) with Defy

Somehow I missed this post. Yes, it does seem to be a somewhat regular occurrence. My sensitive estradiol numbers have more than doubled from low 30s to almost 70 since starting clomid, and I wonder how much of the return to baseline (or worse) is eleveated estradiol. I hope to get those levels...

Did you get your labs back yet? Curious what 50mg/ED yields. Hope you're feeling alright.

Clomid (and maybe more) with Defy

I'm not sure. My clomid has always come from Hallandale, but the Defy receipt never indicates the pharmacy and I haven't received tracking from the pharmacy. I did email Defy early this afternoon (directed to the guy who put the order through Tuesday) asking for a status update, but so far I...

Clomid (and maybe more) with Defy

Just wanted to check in here for a quick update. As noted above, anastrozole was ordered Tuesday with overnight shipping, but as of today (Thursday) it still hasn't arrived and I haven't reveived any shipping info from the pharmacy. I'm not optimistic it will arrive this week at all. - It might...

Clomid (and maybe more) with Defy

I did. I was a little peeved to pay $30 for it considering the delay, but in the end I'd rather get started on the AI and I wasn't in the mood to argue about who should cover the shipping.

Clomid (and maybe more) with Defy

Jesse at Defy just called and had everything cleared with the medical staff, so the AI is on its way. The delay was a bit too long in my opinion, but Jesse was apologetic and understanding, so I'll simmer down now.

Clomid (and maybe more) with Defy

I was trying to do just that when you posted. After sitting on hold for their maximum wait time of 7 minutes, I was forced to leave a message, which I did, and also sent another email. I can't believe it is this difficult, especially after the doctor said I needed it.

My salivary cortisol test came back yesterday. . 8am: 0.458 (0.025-0.600) Noon: 0.097 (<0.010-0.330) 4pm: 0.023 (0.010-0.200) Midnight: <0.010 (<0.010-0.090) . At first glance, all looks within range. . I'm still waiting on Defy to prescribe the AI (anastrazole 0.25mg EOD as recommended by Dr...

    All my labs (except the cortisol x4 test) came back today. Some interesting results. Testosterone: 1104 ng/dL (348-1197) Free test (direct): 30.5 pg/mL (8.7-25.1) Estradiol, sensitive: 68.3 pg/mL (8.0-35.0) SHGB, serum: 67.5 nmol/L (16.5-55.9) LH: 7.6 mIU/mL (1.7-8.6) FSH: 11.3 mIU/mL...

Clomid (and maybe more) with Defy

Absolutely. He noted in our first consult that I was a rather interesting case, so I'm very interested to see whats labs show regarding my response to clomid, adrenals, and GH levels. As an aside, I appreciate your helpful comments and kind words in this thread.

14 days is a relatively short period, but you're also on a much higher dose than me. I take your post to mean that you have not felt any changes, even temporary? I only ask because when I started, the first 3 to 4 days I felt extremely anxious and irritable, followed by 4 to 5 days of feeling...
