Some aromatize a lot or a little?

Yes, that's what I was basically intending. Perhaps correlation wasn't the right way to word it. Basically, when we round up the "usual suspects" for estradiol issues in men, SHBG inevitably gets put in the line up with all the others, including the aromatase enzyme, even when it's probably at...

Some aromatize a lot or a little?

Well... unfortunately, I think the best answer is "probably". Basically, some men just convert more testosterone into estrogen than others via a process called aromatization, regardless of the reason. It's a necessary process for a healthy, functional hormone axis, but it can get out of control...

How normal people get their protein macro?

You work out 5 days a week, and will gain weight if you eat over 2000 calories per day? Something isn't right here.

    More effective: IM or SubQ?

I'm thinking it won't make a significant difference for most men once you're "dialed in". I moved to subq because it was easier and no risk of scaring muscle tissue. Also, I'm in an area where there's no legal, free method to dispose of sharps, so using insulin syringes for subq shots means I...

    Nandrolone Experiences

I had an interesting reaction switching from cypionate to enanthate. I'm not sure what, if any, difference there is in my blood levels, but my cardio endurance is significantly reduced while on cypionate, and returned within two or three weeks after switching to enanthate. I can't point to any...

In a mild panic, did I just OD on anastrazole?

Honestly, I"m not recommending it BUT if it were me, I'd just take some extra HCG and a larger dose of testosterone and lay off anastrozole for a couple weeks. It'll bounce back.

    Difficult blood draws...

If you look at your forearms and the crook of your elbow, can you clearly see veins? If so, you've likely got an inexperienced phlebotomist. Tell them to slow tf down and use a smaller needle and it should be fine. Some LabCorp locations are so busy they try to rush everything to get to the next...

can you elaborate on where you got this blend? I'm on enanthate currently and would love to try a blend like this out, but Defy on has a deva/cyp blend, which I'm not interested in.

    Early morning wake ups

I want to have this "problem". Sounds to me like your body is ready for you to hit the gym or go for a run. Personally, I'd just take advantage of it and get some exercise, then go about your day. Early to bed, early to rise and all.

    Nandrolone Experiences

Once again, as an over 40 lifter, I'm really appreciative of this thread. I'm hoping to start my own personal low-dose nandrolone trial to add to my TRT with Defy in mid-February, and I'll post updates to a fresh thread at that time. Thanks again for the convo, gents.

    HCG Dosage for Primary Hypogonadism

Well, again... HCG alone has a high potential to work on its own. I wouldn't spend the money on FSH unless HCG doesn't work for you after a month or so.

    HCG Dosage for Primary Hypogonadism

HMG or HCG? I think the answer is no either way, but "HMG" isn't ringing a bell. Just out of curiosity, why the concern over sperm count at 40? FSH is the most expensive option you mentioned, but a significant margin, and it may not be any more effective than HCG. Lastly, don't walk in to this...

High Estradiol in Men: How High is Too High?

YES! Specifically : "Men must maintain healthy levels of estradiol, no question about it. Just what constitutes a “healthy level,” however, has become a matter of dispute here at Excelmale. The conversations become tiresome and unproductive." If I contributed to tiresome and unproductive, I...

High Estradiol in Men: How High is Too High?

I'm not trying to start an argument, but speaking in absolutes like that is just wrong. What you're describing does NOT work for me. I've tried it. I absolutely had side effects from high estrogen, and it wasn't when switching protocols. Speaking in absolutes like that gives a new guy just 4 or...

High Estradiol in Men: How High is Too High?

What you're describing works for *some* men, it does NOT work for plenty, myself included. There's no special T:E ratio for me, but SHBG to E2 works. I have side effects with my E2 over ~30, regardless if I'm at 700 or 1050 total T or 17 or over 22 free T.

    Wonderings Journey

Just to be clear, my issues were nothing like yours: no ed or libido problems whatsoever. Long story short, I was running 3 miles without a problem prior to starting TRT, and that rapidly went downhill on cypionate but I felt fantastic otherwise. Never could get back to doing more than a mile...

    Wonderings Journey

I know it's a long shot, but have you considered trying a different ester? I know it makes no sense scientifically and there's little to no evidence to back up my own personal experience, but I had a HUGE improvement moving from cypionate to enanthate. If you're desperate and ready to try...

My Concerns With TRT, Erectile Dysfunction, And Overall Well Being

I apologize, but I struggle with following all the details in long posts, so if you mentioned it already, my bad. But in regards to the above- you say it was all taken away from you within days- what was happening immediately prior to that? What was your regimen before it, and what changed...

New member - pre TRT blood test results

Your elevated LH levels would be a possible indicator for primary hypogonadism, but that's normally seen with elevated FSH, which you definitely do NOT have. I honestly haven't seen such elevated LH with low FSH... but at 24, I would think your testosterone would be higher than what it is. I'm...

Good Morning, I'd like To Introduce Myself

What's agro? As for the body hair... I've had some of that as well. I've wondered if it was due to the TRT or just getting older (I'm 42 now). It's not crazy but I now have a little bit of hair on my shoulders and never have had it there before... also the hair on my stomach seems to grow longer...

Older guy with an unexpected problem

So first, there's no such thing as TRT that doesn't cause spikes and lulls, with MAYBE the exception being pellets. Spikes and lulls aren't necessarily anything to be afraid of- they occur naturally anyways. And regular old injectable testosterone can be had for as low as $22 a month with a...

Where I got confused was from your post which said: "Also, my current doctor wants to try HCG of 1250 mg per week for 4 weeks and see if it makes any changes and if it doesnt increase my test, then he is planning to put me on TRT. " Regarding low T, high libido... I wouldn't assume anything. I...

High LH, Low T but doctor wants to try Mono HCG

Keep in mind, you're still a man, and still an individual. An "optimal" level of testosterone isn't necessarily going to "fix" your sex drive as it is right now. Most likely it'd increase on TRT, so that's a poor expectation to have. Also, trying HCG for a month might not be a bad idea...

Elevated PSA at 32 years old, Should I stop?

Well, since you've already stopped TRT the ideal circumstance doesn't exist anymore, in my opinion. Personally, I would have stayed on TRT and taken a full week off from exercise, abstain from sex for three days, and then re-test PSA to see what that result was. At this point, any change you...
