    Aging, and Thriving, With HIV

Good stuff Nelson, you are the epitome of a groundbreaking pioneer. The stigmas still remain, how politically incorrect is it still to use the word 'steroid'. That word will never be acceptable in the mainstream.

Can anyone decipher what happened to me and what my labs mean?

Yes you're a total mess. You gave up after 2 weeks because you thought you were smarter than the Doctor. You thought the sky was falling because you didn't feel like superman all the time. You thought you knew better than anyone else what you're body could do after you stopped that 2nd week...

My doctor is horrible waiting to see a new one but was going to get some answers

Clomid would be a normal first approach. You should include ranges with your results, different labs have different ranges. As far as primary, I doubt it, as far as secondary it's possible. A 425 might be normal depending on physical and other stats. If you're overweight, if you smoke, if you...

    Excerise and high hematacrit

Absolutely you can work out, take full advantage of those extra red blood cells. Just pop a baby aspirin on a daily basis. Athletes and especially endurance athletes love that thick blood. Helps performance.

Should I donate blood with these lab results?

Yes, a 3rd cause of them refusing to allow donation, low hemoglobin. A possible sign of iron deficiency, too frequent donation, or possibly even more serious abnormalities. I personally donate every 2 months for obvious reasons, I'm hoping my counts will eventually normalize.

Should I donate blood with these lab results?

for profit blood centers usually do RBC only

Should I donate blood with these lab results?

This is just not true. Number one they don't test your hematocrit prior to test. They do test your hemoglobin which one could loosely translate to a hematocrit number, but they actually prefer and welcome high hemoglobin counts. Each of my past 4 donations my hemo was between 18.3 and 19.6. My...

    Bunk Meds from Hallandale

To set the record straight, it's never been in cool temps. Last week I did a trip to Florida, from Ft Lauderdale to Orlando and back to Cali. I had paid for the tests awhile back and had some time on Thursday to make an appt at a local Labcorp. It was hot and muggy and was in my bag in the...

    Bunk Meds from Hallandale

So Defy switched up my providing pharmacy from APS to Hallandale. I had posted an earlier thread stating I wasn't too stoked about it and the fact that they split it up in 2 5ml vials. Mixed response. So be it. I had my six month consult and lab review with the nurse and we agreed to bump up...

    SHBG question?

Not really, Free is typically 2% of total so your numbers are inline with eachother. SHBG usually lowers with T treatment. It's more important to diagnose why your T is low rather than just say it's low I need TRT. Obesity, alcohol use, and a sedentary lifestyle contribute as much to low T as...

Proviron will drive your SHBG and your HDL down, probably should hold off taking that. Deca won't raise your T. Surprised your free T is that low with a low shbg reading.

Dave Palumbo goes to Envizion Medical

When he received the meds, he said they sent him thyroid armour and and he didn't even know about it and I remember he said he didn't want it. Then he got the testosterone and said he didn't really want 400mg a week, 200mg will do. Crazy.

SR9009 a possible future option for treatment of atherosclerosis

half life is a few hours, I took 10mg in liquid suspension 3 times a day. In pill form oral bioavailability is like zero you're correct. But a few companies have been able to attach it to something and suspend it in alcohol. It is then absorbed under tongue and goes into your bloodstream instead...

SR9009 a possible future option for treatment of atherosclerosis

Atherosclerotic plaque size was significantly reduced (p < 0.05) in mice administered SR9009 (100 mg/kg) for seven weeks compared to control mice (n = 10 per group). Sounds like a lot to take. I've taken several 10mg doses in a day, and the stuff is intense to say the least.

Anyone else using Perrigo from Wallgreens?

I'm not a rocket scientist, but 20ml is huge. So I'm going to guess you made a mistake and they're actually 2ml, which in your case is 4 doses. Which sounds normal for a product from a pharma company. So there's that. Defy just supplied my latest scrip from Hallandale and they're now 2 5ml...

I don't understand Iron and Ferritin levels

Finger prick is definitely hemoglobin and is more tied in to hematocrit than anything else. If your hemoglobin was 19.3 today your hematocrit was likely 56-57. Curious what your blood pressure was today as well when they drew, as BP tends to elevate as the blood gets thicker. Hemoglobin is not...

    Do Steroids Deepen Your Voice?

lol, dude above sounds super knowledgeable, and yet is dead wrong. 100% TRT can change your voice. Deeper, scratchier effects but usually not permanent. Has definitely affected mine, and for some reason more so as I approach the trough. Very common for many who use Test, and others who use...
