Hesitating on TRT, Does Anyone Have Regrets?

You're going to eventually lose that functionality in the not so distant future. To answer your question, I was on TRT for 8-9 years and HPTA function returned within one week. I'm 53 years old. All this for you is a moot point considering you have primary hypogonadism. There's no going back...

    High SHBG, Low free T.

Thyroid problems would present with low SHBG. Do you cut/starve yourself to look ripped? If so this can raise SHBG and lower testosterone production. This statement makes no sense. You can have a functioning HPTA and feel like normal everyday actively is akin to climbing Mount Everest...

    Testosterone level

I have similar TT and FT numbers. I'm 53 and the last time I checked my TT was 438, FT 8.4. I was on TRT for 8-9 years, came off and continued to have the same issues. I figured it out. The entire time on TRT I had low vitamin D but any time I tried raising the vitamin D I had side effects that...

Warning for Men on TRT: Low Ferritin is Bad

A lot of mainstream medical doctors are ignorant when it comes to lipids. If doctors did receive nutritional education in medical school, the pharmaceutical companies wouldn’t be able to push their statins on people because the doctors would know better, and correct nutritional advice would be...

Warning for Men on TRT: Low Ferritin is Bad

Correct me if I’m wrong but mainstream medical doctors recommend red meat once or twice a week. Insanity!

What do you have against red meat my friend? Chicken is too lean in fat to sustain you. I'm not seeing a healthy amount of animal fat in your diet. Big mistake! Humans are Apex predators, top of the food chain. Most of the animals that eat primarily meat are at the top of the food chain...

You do have medical problems or you wouldn't be having these symptoms so early in life. There are a lot of medicine conditions (low cortisol/adrenal fatigue) that can cause symptoms mimicking low-T. Thyroid problems is doubtful given you're not overweight or have low SHBG. Full list of...

Your protocol is terrible. No wonder you're having issues. The newer oral testosterone, Jatenzo, Kyzatrex have less side effects than injections due to the frequent dosing and shorter half-life.

DHT: How High is Too High

Hair loss isn't solely due to high DHT, it's a contributor but not the primary cause of hair loss.

Struggling with bloodwork consistency. TRT bloodwork included.

The AI can deceive you into thinking your estrogen is fine, when in reality, serum E2 means very little. Estrogen is converted, made in tissues (50 x higher than serum levels) which can't be measured and this it's where estrogen exerts its effects and you're blocking estrogen inside the tissues...

Doc prescribed TRT - drop HCG?

The thing about hCG is it increases other hormones and can create hormone imbalance or in the case where men show great benefit can create hormone balance.

Doc prescribed TRT - drop HCG?

I never heard of penis shrinkage from not using hCG. That's a new one. As far as testicle shrinkage, depends on how big they are to start with, if their small, than any shrinkage is going to be more noticable. There are lots of men on TRT in isolation doing very well with no complaints. HCG...

    Hello…. Looking for advise

You’re overweight for a guy that’s 5’ 11”. Clean up your diet and exercise. If you really want to improve your health, the carnivore diet has the ability to boost your testosterone. Nothing increases testosterone more naturally than red meat and exercise. I don’t think a lack of testosterone is...

Beard growth/face changes and TRT protocol - just me?

If you're experiencing overstimulation due to the half0life of injections, lowering the dose won't matter. Changing the delivery method/half-life is the only option.

Beard growth/face changes and TRT protocol - just me?

I didn’t notice a difference in my ratios of other hormones at midpoint and peak on injections versus orals. The only thing that changed was the half-life and the large fluctuation in hormone levels. The medium half-life injections can cause overstimulation because level stay elevated longer...

I never felt right on injections. The shorter half-life formulations really change things for me. My natural levels more closely mimic the shorter half-life formulations. The difference between early morning and late afternoon are dramatic.

This is one of the reasons why many men continue to struggle with TRT. As of right now your hormone levels are unsteady. If you were on Jatenzo or Kyzatrex, you'd reach steady levels in 7 days due to the shorter half-life.

The is the wrong way to do things, you test at trough, not peak. Your levels are lower 2.5 days later and that's where you want to test levels. Whatever is causing your liver enzymes to be elevated is probably the cause of your low-T, because TRT improves liver function...
