If you choose to inject 250iu 2x a week, you’re the only one who will be able to tell if it’s working as far as resolving your atrophy goes. The lab thing is another story.

I was put on 500iu EOD... for the same reason as you: prevent further atrophy. I don’t plan to father children either. And my atrophy had already resolved naturally since I stopped TRT cold turkey three months ago after being on it for about 12 weeks. My urologist put me back on Cypionate...

This is a very interesting study on HCG. Lipshultz protocol for HCG is 500iu EOD which is 250iu daily, is it the equivalent in terms of continuity and regularity or even better to inject daily rather than EOD?

My lack of libido is the main reason why I started TRT at 140mg/week of Cypionate. My trough was 700 seven weeks later (test done the morning before my injection) but no major change libido wise. Dr says it takes time. We’ll see

Thank you for explaining. I don’t think my urologist has ever tested my shbg. I’m relatively new to TRT. So I still have a long journey ahead of me I presume. My lack of libido sort of amazes me. Like I became a different person.

I’d suggest you use the 1cc/ml syringe to be accurate (you’re correct, it’ll help) but don’t use a 1ml insulin syringe as the needle will make it very hard to draw the dense oil in the Cypionate into the syringe (unless you have tried and it has worked for you). I buy 1cc/ml syringes...

Frankly it can be vanity or not, but you’re not the only man who doesn’t like to see his testicles atrophied including me. I’m 58 and they were fine till I started TRT, so I want to keep them that way. I’m attached to them... literaly.

Does it affect you sexually? I just started taking HCG and my testicles are tight somtimes but they hang nicely other times.

Yes, it’s correct to draw to the 50 mark. You add a 0 and it’s 500iu as 1:1 ratio will give you more volume but the same dose. 500iu=.50cc/ml which is half a syringe. Since you’re on a 1,000 dose/week, ask your Dr to see about injecting smaller doses more frequently. My urologist doesn’t mind...
