Defy Medical - Post Consultation Patient Service

The current wait time right now is about 2 weeks, unless you scheduled with Dr. Saya, he's about 4-5 weeks out right now. Keep in mind that all of our providers are trained by Dr. Saya himself, so you're not getting less quality of care with choosing a mid level provider.

That is essentially how the process works, as blackhawk had mentioned, you can also order online if you wish. However, our policy is that after your consult, one of our medical assistants will give you a call and go over the medications with you, and walk you through the ordering process.

    Defy Medical Physical?

He very likely did perform a review of systems, but is wrongly denying you access to those records. I can't be certain, but for a provider to not have documented an ROS is extremely unlikely.

How do I find a primary care physician who is well educated on TRT? *I don’t have a doctor yet*

We can issue prescriptions for a therapeutic phlebotomy if medically warranted. To be honest, I've had trouble finding a PCP that's familiar with TRT, often when I've seen other doctors for things not related to TRT I'm met with the same resistance. Only had one doctor that wasn't, and he was a...

Hey everyone. New to TRT, haven’t had my first injection and deciding on where to go.

Sometimes providers may not feel comfortable signing our form as they believe that they are making the decision for us to begin TRT. There's a lot of misconceptions regarding HRT and providers can let that be known when asked for a physical. It's not clearing you for treatment with us, but...

New to forums. Bloodwork complete. Next steps?

I do sometimes think it'd be helpful to work Saturdays(especially today as I lost power for a few hours) as many patients have a hard time talking during business hours and it'd be beneficial to be able to reach out to them on Saturdays. Most likely my colleague emailed me your contact info...

New to forums. Bloodwork complete. Next steps?

Unfortunately we do not work Saturdays, so it's only patient care staff. Depending on how they forwarded it to us, I may be the one to reach out to you on Monday. Of course, there are a few requirements when it comes to having insurance cover labs, which either myself or one of my colleagues...

Full Lab Results from LabCorp/Defy - Delayed?

You're welcome to call and ask for your results if you haven't received them yet, or to check the status of them. Patients order labs for their own knowledge, and we do try to get results to patients as fast as we can, but it never hurts to check in via email or phone if you're curious.

Hey everyone. New to TRT, haven’t had my first injection and deciding on where to go.

One piece of advice is to make sure you receive a copy of the records. They may offer to fax it, but in my experience, it often takes quite a while for us to actually receive the fax.

Full Lab Results from LabCorp/Defy - Delayed?

Perhaps you are giving your doctors your full name including middle name? The one thing life extension and privatemdlabs have in common are that they are "client bill", meaning prepaid. If labs you've ordered from us also do not appear, then this may be the cause, assuming you're paying us...
