I was actually surprised to find a provider that accepts insurance, I did find one other Dr. that specialized in HRT that did. but she only accepted one insurance (BCBS) which was not my insurer. My fallback will be my primary care doc but I think that will require me to educate not only...

I continue to be amazed at the bias against TRT in the elderly. I discussed it with my 86 year old fathers endocrinologist. I mentioned I was concerned about sarcopenia ultimately effecting his abilty to perform daily tasks and aksed if TRT could help that as well as make him feel better...

Interesting, seems most users on this forum don't drink. I understand that alchohol kind of undoes what we are trying to do with TRT but is any amount tolerable? A few beers on Saturday night? Any risk of serious damage to being on TRT and light drinking?
