    List of high Estradiol symptoms

Add constipation as a symptom of high estrogen in some people. I just got over at least 2 months of SEVERE constipation as a result of my E2 going up 4 points as a side effect of oral DHEA supplementation. Got my DHEA level up ok but the aromatization and resulting constipation was not worth it.

    Tinnitus

I've had tinnitus (from loud guitar amplifiers) for 30 plus years (I'm 56 now). TRT has not helped nor added to the problem.

Zinc Supplements Can Lower Good (HDL) Cholesterol

That's what I'm beginning to learn thanks to this forum. Thanks.

Zinc Supplements Can Lower Good (HDL) Cholesterol

I agree. My multi-vitamin has approximately the same ratio zinc and copper as Jarrows. I know we probably can't rely on the crap in a cheap multi-vitamin to keep us in line though. I may try the Jarrows just to ensure an adequate intake. Thanks.

Zinc Supplements Can Lower Good (HDL) Cholesterol

I'm off the zinc for now. Last labs showed it had little to no effect on E2 and I believe it affected my libido. Last TT level came in at 678 with E2 sensitive at 36 (8.0 - 35). The more I read about pharmacological doses of zinc the more concern I have about taking too much.

Anecdotal subjective opinion- high dose zinc has killed my libido

It's hard to say. All prior tests were done with the standard assay for E2 and were way higher values that apparently had no real relationship to what was really going on. It was only after I started reading this forum that I understood why a sensitive assay was better. I've probably learned...

Anecdotal subjective opinion- high dose zinc has killed my libido

I'm just going by the only thing that's changed in my protocol with the lab numbers I posted above. I had read on another forum that zinc may affect libido in some people. That's why I wanted to validate on this forum. I don't guess the magnesium would be the cause but who knows?!

Anecdotal subjective opinion- high dose zinc has killed my libido

That sounds like good advice to me. The ZMA hasn't seemed to change the E2 numbers anyway but as posted by ERO that might be a moot point anyway if I'm in the sweet spot.

Anecdotal subjective opinion- high dose zinc has killed my libido

I'm still learning the numbers game despite being on trt for 7 or 8 years, albeit mostly self-guided since my pcp is old school. I hadn't thought to look at the ratio so that's good news that I"m in the sweet spot. I'll be retesting next month. Thanks.

Anecdotal subjective opinion- high dose zinc has killed my libido

So I started taking ZMA for the 50 mgs of zinc it contains in an effort to bring down my borderline high estradiol levels- last two labs showed 34.9 and 36.6 ref 8.0 - 35 sensitive assay. This is the only change in my protocol in the past 6 -8 weeks. Test levels are around 658 and free test 19...

12.5mg clomid eod, DUPA hairloss + DIM lowered my estradiol like crazy

Already on milk thistle. Why calcium? You having any insomnia on the DIM? I've had some sudden onset insomnia the past two nights. Maybe just a coincidence? The DIM is the only recent addition to my protocol.

12.5mg clomid eod, DUPA hairloss + DIM lowered my estradiol like crazy

Good to hear that DIM is working for you. I just started it myself as my E2 is borderline high. I also have some IC3 on the way to add to protocol. I had been wondering if anyone was having success with DIM. Thanks for the report.

Testosterone and Blood Clots: Study Finds No Link

I for one have had vascular issues since starting trt. Ive had varicose veins for years but they worsened it seems since I started. Had endoscopic laser ablation done twice and have brawny edema on both legs. According to the interventional radiologist I have evidence of DVT in one leg that I...

Zinc Supplements Can Lower Good (HDL) Cholesterol

yessir, basically what I'm doing now with the exception of the dosage is 100 mgs. But I will adjust down to 50 mgs (that's the dose in the ZMA I take anyway, and ditch the extra 50 zinc gluconate I've added). I take a multivitamin that has 15 mgs as well but it's the oxide form and may not be...

Zinc Supplements Can Lower Good (HDL) Cholesterol

Sorry, didn't mean to hijack this thread and make it about my case. I've read the concerns about excess zinc and the potential copper imbalance. Just looking for a way,not permanently, to lower E2 before having to resort to an AI, prescribed or not. I'm no longer seeing the urologist due to his...

Zinc Supplements Can Lower Good (HDL) Cholesterol

My protocol up until a week ago was 200 mg test cyp IM every 2 weeks (started by the last urologist I went to). I had previously experimented with SQ injections based on the forums and work of Crisler, but probably did not allow long enough for it to stabilize and impatiently switched back to IM...

Zinc Supplements Can Lower Good (HDL) Cholesterol

I recently started approximately 100 mgs daily of zinc in an effort to reduce E2, which was 34.9 (8.0 -35 ref range). Will retest in 6 weeks to see how it affects it. So far I have had a slight reduction in joint clicking so I"m hoping the zinc will work and I don't have to resort to an AI...
