Trouble with first day on pregnenolone

I tried 30mg pregnenolone this morning with breakfast, and about 2 hours later, was hit with such fatigue, I almost had to leave work. It was truly unbearable. Also had some dandelion tea, and I thought that might have been it - but I made some more and it doesn't seem to be the cause. Writing...

What are a few good first steps to reducing water retention?

Thanks Nelson. I read that over but was curious of where to start. I’ll look through this again. Lastly, I have no confirmation it’s all water weight. My scale reports the same percentage of water but I know that’s not entirely accurate.

What are a few good first steps to reducing water retention?

First, I'm not mad about the extra 20lbs I've put on since starting TRT 3 months ago. I needed it. Sadly, I assume most is water, and it's creeping up yet again. I've been reading stickies on here about cortisol and the options available, but I'm a little lost as to where to start. Can anyone...

    Pregnenolone question

Thanks Sean. I just had a consultation with Dr Saya but forgot to ask about this. I think at the end of the day, it'd be worth trying 25mg when everything else I'm changing settles, and see if I feel better on that than without. He did notice that my DHEA level looks great since starting TRT.

Adding HCG again proving to be challenging

Another question, does HCG always raise T in guys? 150mg T cyp only gets me to about 700, and I wonder if Dr Saya planned for HCG to do the rest. Have a call with him in a bit and going to ask what he thinks. I'd be willing to try HCG again, but I'd like the option to increase my T dose if it...

Adding HCG again proving to be challenging

Thanks Vince. Starting to really think I’m one of those guys. I got excited because it wasn’t making me anxious this time. I do remember the bloating fatigue and sexual issues from the last time I tried it though (before I started keeping a log). That’s interesting...HCG wasn’t affecting your E2?

Adding HCG again proving to be challenging

Would like to add this too: Does HCG promote excessive aromatization while on TRT? Check out what Nelson and both Crisler and Saya had to say.

Adding HCG again proving to be challenging

Hey guys, after a few months on TRT, and leveling out on 150mg T cyp/week (injected daily), with a TT of 716, FT 29.5, and E2 29.3, I decided to give HCG another shot. Previously I felt it was making me anxious. I've been increasing the dose a little each injection, and starting at a low 100IU...

    Prolactin climbing, TSH periodically elevated

Got it right here Vince: Can't really pin a huge difference between the tests, except a 5 day difference. As far as the prolactin, I've read over and over that stress can really jack it up. The stress level lately has been extreme to say the least.

    Prolactin climbing, TSH periodically elevated

Before starting TRT, my TSH was going something like 1>1.5>2.5 and then on TRT 3.25, and now back to 2.2. Waiting for my consult with Dr Saya next week to discuss in more detail. Alongside it, my prolactin has been climbing. It normally sits around 20-30, but lately has gone into the 30s and...

Man, really makes me wonder if the magnesium really does make me feel better when I add it in. I was not taking it when I did this test.

Recently three things happened: 1. I've been increasingly moody, to the point I'm afraid I'm going to flip out and end up in jail or something. 2. My TSH has been climbing, recently to 3.2, and Dr Saya requested a full thyroid panel. 3. I noticed my mood seems to tank when I don't take...

Having trouble fighting off depression ~8 weeks in, suggestions?

Funny you say that, my TSH has been climbing and just came back at 3.25. I know the new threshold is 3 and Defy likes it under 2.5 I believe. Asked them to order a full panel earlier today. Since posting this thread, I’ve been feeling better overall but this weird random anxiety thing has been...

Three month bloods in - couple questions

Got a couple of weeks before my appointment with Dr Saya, but my results are in. There's a few red flags, and hoping someone could shed some light on them so that I feel a little bit better! *I tried posting this in the bloodwork section but kept getting a page not found error* I'm 34 years...

Got a couple of weeks before my appointment with Dr Saya, but my results are in. There's a few red flags, and hoping someone could shed some light on them so that I feel a little bit better! I'm 34 years old, and have never had any major blood test red flags aside from slightly elevated...

Doctors servicing the Buffalo NY area

Hey guys, asking for a close friend who tested very low T a while back and has been unable to find good treatment. He seems to like what I've told him about my Defy experience, but unfortunately, the only Labcorp in the area (short of a 4+ hour drive each way to Pittsburgh) refuses to do labs...

Guys who like HCG - what do you like about it?

I’m wondering if it’d help me a little with anxiety. Previously it was causing it, but I’d like to try a lower dose. Plus the anxiety has been getting worse. How much HCG do you use?

Guys who like HCG - what do you like about it?

I’ve heard it makes men feel more “full” or “better” but what specifically does that mean? It definitely makes me a little jittery and I’m trying to look for positives that might make it worthwhile. A few things are still lacking on just T and I’m trying to decide if it’s worth another shot.

Guys who didn't like HCG but now use a lower dose...

Thanks Vince. Did you have a poor reaction to higher doses as well?
