    Should I start TRT

I don't really buy the whole low T causing large amounts of weight gain. It gives you poor results from workouts and worse body composition, but packing on massive weight quickly isn't just low T. If you are looking to treat low T it would be for side effects it actually causes. You didn't...

3 weeks on TRT, 15 lb weight gain should I be concerned?

I had low e2 when staring hence held less water. Gained about 5lbs of water that says there if e2 is in range. Never in my life have I had fluctuations I hear about with other people. My weight is super steady day to day if I'm not dieting or anything. I don't limit sodium either. If if I...

    Testosterone Ranges at FL Lab

Lab ranges are arbitrary as hell imo. They just don't account for a number of important variables. Makes more sense to use the blood test as loose reference point and treat symptoms imo.

    Resolving Crashed E2

Unfortunately I have some experience with tanking e2. It never has taken 4 weeks to resolve. That's without an ai at 200mg/wk. accurate dose would be about .75mg/wk ai. Go test your e2 with the correct test. For me i believe e2 comes around, but libido and such lag. Next thing I know high e2...

Dispensing Testosterone: Has the law changed?

A hormone every person on the planet has in their body. Not only is it a controlled substance, but it is actively getting more regulation. Makes perfect sense...

Hct - Once Lowered, Will it Remain So?

It may be a variable, but it doesn't always work that way. Mine did not rise with hematocrit of 53. Same as 44.

T increasing, E2 decreasing on TRT, no AI. Why?

I didn't read everything, but I can simply tell you that you won't feel better/best until you get e2 in range. 50mg/wk is ridiculous. 100/wk is on the low side but works for some. Even on the right dose it can take a few months for e2 to rise.

Hct - Once Lowered, Will it Remain So?

im not drawing any parallels there. I, like many, saw elevated HCT in the first few months. I donated blood a few times to get down to 45 or so. Even on a higher dose im not convinced I really need to even donate. I go every 6-9 months now, and it usually not much over 46, which is where my...

Should We Be Managing Estradiol and Hematocrit in Men on Testosterone Replacement?

im not sure if you read it the way I meant it. Not in the medical field here. Just a patient. With a half life of 12 hours your T levels must decline on the later half of a 24 day, right? Lab ranges usually peak around 1200 TT. I'm assuming you would be at or under that level before the next...

Should We Be Managing Estradiol and Hematocrit in Men on Testosterone Replacement?

I tend to agree with the part regarding reasonable e2 control. I've personally seen my lipid panels respond favorably to controlled e2 in range and unfavorably to low e2. I believe the Dr. is saying that at 1500-2000 TT his patients aren't seeing high e2. That would be because of the 12 hour...

Should We Be Managing Estradiol and Hematocrit in Men on Testosterone Replacement?

I agree. This is one of the most interesting threads in a long time. It's a very different approach from pretty much what every other Dr I have read up on recommends. I wonder why literally 95% of the time I read about someone's experience with a gel or cream, compounded or not, they do not...

Should We Be Managing Estradiol and Hematocrit in Men on Testosterone Replacement?

I'm not going to pretend I can debate any of this, but I find it interesting. What is half life of the compounded cream you use Dr. Nichols? the reason I ask is you mentioned TT levels of 1500-2000 and also needing to inject daily to get steady levels like with a cream. I did just that at...

    What High E2 Feels Like

Easiest indicator for me is being agitated by things that really should just be minor. The same way I am if I'm super tired. Then the body acne comes a day or 2 later. Libido is usually pretty low. Those symptoms indicate high e2 for me.

    Post-Injection Pain Thigh

Thighs are the worst for me. Always at least some minor pain the next day. I do a lot better with glutes. It's a little awkward but not too bad. I generally just do a 30ga in the delts.

E2 Under Five - What More Can I Do to Boost It?

I would look into liver liver function tests and other medications you are taking that could effect e2 conversion. You are definitely to the far end of the spectrum to say the least. It took me about 3 months to get e2 in range when starting but dosages were 100-150/wk with steady climbs.

Estradiol - How Long to Recover After a Crash?

If it were me I'd stop the ai at that dose and check bloodwork. Odds are in favor of not needing it. You T dose was a little high but e2 barely out of range. Of course that's Day 7.

Anybody else having trouble with Empower?

I've not had these issues. They've been great. If I read between the lines I think its miscommunication between your dr office and empower. I'm sure they are used to doing things a certain way. My doc deals with them everyday. I'm guessing that's the difference. The 10ml prescription for example...

Sky High E2 on Three Milligrams of Anastrozole Per Week

I wouldn't change anything at all for now if you feel great. Sensitive e2 is needed as mentioned. The thing that would bother me is you are so far normal results for that dosage. There must be some underlying issue to be diagnosed. I can't remember for the life of me what type of drug it...

Injecting Testosterone Propionate on a Daily Basis

I think something interesting to see would be the different e2 numbers. I've read conflicting information. People will claim over and over that the ester does not effect aromitization, but if you follow people reporting on their steroid cycles they consistently report less water retention and...

Why Do Some Feel Good on Large Doses of Hormones?

If we are just talking testosterone I'm not sure why one would expect someone to feel bad with 5x or 10x normal T levels assuming e2 was kept in check. Seems like it would be difficult though. Maybe that's what you meant. Enough bloodwork would remedy that. As for ther steroids, I've read...

Is This Gyno? How Should I Eliminate It?

Not too knowledgeable on gyno myself, but congrats on your transformation. Pretty impressive. If if you have the funds I think I'd see a doctor about this. I've heard of people doing what you said, but it was immediately after the gyno developed. You will feel awful mentally while removing all...

    Selecting the Right Physician

It doesn't seem there are many good TRT docs out there. You hear a lot more bad than good. I'd take the advice of those who say to use defy who specializes in this. Short of that the best doc imo is one who will prescribe what you ask for and order all needed tests. It's then up to you to learn...

Pretty interesting stuff. My dad and myself are both very tolerant of pain meds. We know this from experience. Haven't seen it with anything else.

    Can't get T up

I wonder if you didn't require an ai and now do. If you convert a bunch of that test to estrogen you get a lower total. I'd expect you to be having some major symptoms though.

Carditone works 100% without a doubt. Drops about 20 points and pulse 5-7 without fail. It's magnesium, herbs, and a tiny dose of a BP med not often prescribed anymore. Takes a week or so for the effects.

Mixed Results from Testosterone Therapy Study

I'd like to think there wasn't an agenda here, and they were just clueless. Gels seems to work for maybe 20% of people. They are also literally saying 300 tt is within range. Worthless data.

    Daily Injections of Testosterone

I've been doing daily IM in the shoulders for almost a year. I much prefer it to every 3.5 days mainly for the consistent mood. Even on once a week injections I was doing just fine, but I just didn't like the ups and downs even though the down days it wasn't like I felt bad. It was just odd...

A lot of us use a small insulin needle 28 to 30 gauge subcutaneously. How?

I draw with a 27g since I have a bunch of them. Otherwise I'd use a 22g. I backfill the 30g. I inject daily so it's a small amount. If it was .5-1ml I'd warm the barrel under the faucet. It helps a lot. Not needed for tiny amounts.
