A pill that could outsell Viagra: New testosterone Rx drug

Great response. Too many are also going on an AI and HCG with the first injection. Then, if something is wrong, it is very difficult to figure out what is wrong, I am a patient at Men’s Health Boston, where Morgentaler’s starting protocol is 100 mg IM once per week, that’s it. Nothing else until...

Viagra or Cialis: Which gets you Harder?

I was a patient of Abraham Morgentaler’s clinic and they are ok with it. I take them at the same time. I should add that I am 68 and have done this for the past three years. I do this two to three times per week for sex only, as wife and I plan sex, a benefit of being an empty nester. Works very...

    Standing extensions vs over head

I have rotator issue. Limit the ROM on the pullovers. You still will get an amazing pump from this combo. The pullovers are to pre exhaust the tris, not for shoulder stretch.

    Standing extensions vs over head

In the position shown, start with straight arms. The motion is restricted a bit, but it is not a big deal as the focus is on the tricep with the arms straight. Go immediately into the triceps extension as pictured. It works great with bands but I don’t know of it would be the same with a cable...

    Standing extensions vs over head

I like to do the overhead extensions as shown, but pre-exhaust with a standing straight arm pullover. I do it with bands. The pump is unbelievable and the combination is very efficient, especially with loop style bands.

    Hip Replacement Surgery Experiences

I’ve had two, one in 2006 which was posterior and one in 2021 which was anterior. It’s not as big a deal as you think and you’ll be walking right away. Pain is manageable and actually feels better than it does before the surgery. What I did during both surgeries was worked out my upper body with...

    John Crisler books

Campbell has stated his protocol is 150 mg test per week, no AI. Nothing unusual. Carl Lanore, host of the Superhuman Radio podcast was a close friend of Crisler and said that Crisler had a long history of depression and that TRT was not a factor. Lanore is very knowledgeable and his podcast is...

    John Crisler books

His podcast has changed. It used to be TRT focused and wellness. Now it is all about his spirituality, chakras, and rants about healthcare. Nothing of substance, just his fawning over obscure people with pretty out there ideas. Considers himself “enlightened “ and some kind of spiritual guru of...

    John Crisler books

Campbell was the best source of information on TRT and his books gave you all you needed to know. You may want to look there. Too bad Campbell went off the rails.

    Urologist was not happy

Best regimen is almost always therapy combined with therapy. Treatment resistant clients can’t rely on meds alone. If new habits and new ways of thinking don’t develop a resistant client will eventually slip back into old emotions and feelings.

    Urologist was not happy

That’s the reality. Even if that psychiatrist was well-versed he can’t be certain that that won’t happen. Psycho tropic medication’s can be very powerful, occasionally unpredictable. No one should take them unless they have to.

    Urologist was not happy

There’s a reason. A GP. Is not trained in psychiatry, it is not in their scope of practice. Basically this means a GP giving psychotropics is essentially doing a google search and prescribing from his research, not his experience. A GP prescribing like that is not the best care and can be...

I have stenosis in the lower back. Bands, dumbbells and yoga are what work for me. Added yoga last year and has been a game changer.

50-year-old muscles just can’t grow big like they used to.

You read my mind. I am 68 and have worked out consistently since 1967. After a certain age you have to adjust your goals and what you use for equipment. I have had six surgeries in my adult life related to the toll my training has had on my body. A lot of guys who are older, if you check their...

    Good Source for BPC Tablets?

Looking for a good source of BPC in tablet form. It has gotten very expensive in the past year and my go to source, Dr. Seeds, has been sold to Tailor Made and now to another company and the price is close to $90 per month. Anyone got a good source at a better price?

I simplified my Nitric Oxide stack!

Not at the same time if you are young. I use them together, and a young guy should not need that much. Cialis 5 or 10 mg should be enough and viagra 25 mg alone should work. Too often a younger guy is impacted by porn use, too much masturbation, and a lack of suitable partners. Psychogenic...

Considering starting TRT although levels are not "clinically low" Feedback would be appreciated

I fully agree. Older guys, and this is just my opinion, tend to do better. I waited until 62 for the same reasons you have cited. Ultimately, every medication or procedure comes with a risk and if you are not comfortable, then don’t do it. How old are you charliebizz?

Considering starting TRT although levels are not "clinically low" Feedback would be appreciated

I was in a similar spot at age 62 when I got on. I was also in range. Unlike you, I wanted to get back a better physique. I did not have any metabolic issues and looked fit. Muscle tone had regressed to nothing special. I was working full time and wanted to have a last burst of trying to get...

    Working out with an injury....opinions?

I usually go once or a few times to PT. I duplicate the workouts at home with my own equipment. I started using bands five years ago after shoulder surgery and bought quantum loop bands and have been using them ever since. Extremely effective and versatile and allow joint friendly workouts...

    Working out with an injury....opinions?

Get some physical therapy and follow a course of that with exercise bands. Don’t use weights until you are ready. You need to be aware of exercise that is pain free or you will take a long time to heal.

Men and sex: Exploring masculinity and insecurity in the bedroom

Read this book years ago when I started at Morgentaler’s clinic. Excellent read that cuts through a lot of the macho posing and posturing that leads to anxiety and unrealistic expectations in men about sex. His description of the medical ways to cure ED are fascinating. I recommend the book...

    Hello, 60yo starting TRT.

I started at 62 and am now 67. You are the perfect age to start and your reasons and expectations are sound. I started at 100mg per week and have moved up slowly to 150 per week. I do one shot per week and I keep it simple. No AI needed and the HCG is not needed, at least for me. Testiicle...

How can testosterone affect cognitive performance?

I would think that stress management is job one on this. I am a psychotherapist and specialize in working with men. Preservation of sexual function with minimally invasive surgical treatments for BPH

The pros and cons of the various surgeries need to be weighed. Every one of these procedures runs the risk of retrograde ejaculation, and you may not be a good candidate for the surgery that you want. If you get the wrong surgery for your situation you are likely to need the procedure every...

Preservation of sexual function with minimally invasive surgical treatments for BPH

I lost almost all. There is some, but not much. I was not overly concerned, things had gotten real bad. The procedure involves laser surgery. The og in through the urethra and burn some of the prostate tissue to widen it to improved urine flow. I was under general anesthesia. Some do it as a...

This question prompted me to research. In my work, I can tell by looking at guy whether or not he is low T and if he has sleep apnea.
