Low dose Clomid for Low T, and bloodwork

I have been on 12.5mg ED of Clomid the last few weeks. My Total T is 556 now, but my Estradiol (ultra-sensitive) is 55 on a scale of <=29. Would low dose Anastrozle help with this? I am assuming my Total T would be even higher if my estradiol was in the 20's. I have an appointment in a couple...

Struggling with low T for years, finally going to fix it

Thanks. It may keep going up, who knows. What shocked me was that my estradiol seems to have "normalized" back to pre-Clomid levels. It was 28 before Clomid, 50 a month in to Clomid, and now back to 28. Not complaining though, just never seen/heard of that. Anyone a little surprised by that?

Struggling with low T for years, finally going to fix it

This was my last post: I feel pretty good. I was reading though that you want free test to be in the 20-25 range instead. Anything natural I can take to raise this up a bit?

    Ok - new update. New labs below....still on 25mg/day of Clomid. Total T: 793 (348-1197) Free T: 15.1 (9.3-26.5) LH: 6.9 (1.7-8.6) FSH: 3.9 (1.5-12.4) Estradiol: 28.6 (7.6-42.6) SHBG: 36.7 (16.5-55.9) My total T is great...I am a little concerned with my free T and SHBG number. Thoughts?

Struggling with low T for years, finally going to fix it

Saw doc - said we will continue to monitor E2 but as of right now they don't want to add another drug into the equation since it's only been a little over a month. Also said as I continue to lose weight that number might drop anyway. I go back for more bloods April 19. I will be getting...

Ok. I wonder if Mucana Pruriens would help my IGF-1 levels?

Struggling with low T for years, finally going to fix it

Is there anything I can take OTC (natural) or diet-wise to raise IGF-1? I want to stay off of as many drugs as possible.

If she refuses the script for Adex, is there something mild OTC that I could lower E2 with?

Is 116 low to begin with though?

Struggling with low T for years, finally going to fix it

So....also got an igf1 test again. 94 (scale 63-373). Was 116 before clomid. These seem pretty low. Should I be concerned about this?

Struggling with low T for years, finally going to fix it

Says she uses it on several of her patients for this. 25mg ED seems reasonable and she did mention before we would eventually stop to see if it would "stick". Just not sure how long she wants me on before that happens, etc. and hoping to get the E2 number down.

Struggling with low T for years, finally going to fix it

The doc sent 6 refills (6 months at 25mg ED) to the pharmacy so I suppose I could be on for 6 months, and probably will be. I'd like to make sure my HPTA is nice and woken up if I stop. I have heard the success rate of stopping Clomid and having your T number stick is low. I'm seeing doc again...

Struggling with low T for years, finally going to fix it

I definitely feel better that's for sure. I wouldn't say it's out of this world or anything, but much better. Although I have noticed the last couple weeks I've been a bit moody and irritable...I think possibly because of the rise in E2. I'm going to see about getting some arimidex from the...

Struggling with low T for years, finally going to fix it

So, new bloodwork after a little over a month on 25mg ED of Clomid. Total T, 682 (range 250-827) Estradiol, 50 (range under 39) ** TSH, 1.54 Free T3, 3.2 (range 2.3-4.2) FSH, 4.1 (range 1.6-8) LH, 4.5 (range 1.5-9.3) So, looks like my HPTA needed a kick in the pants. I have an appt. this week...

Struggling with low T for years, finally going to fix it

Same here and will do! If I respond well to it, I'm hoping to bump it down to 12.5mg EOD for long term (if the results don't "stick" after coming off of it).

Struggling with low T for years, finally going to fix it

Funny you say that, I did a stint with them for 3 months and came off for that reason (HCG). Hopefully Clomid works for me. If not, I should be able to get a script for test cyp. and Adex from a doc, then supplement that with HCG from Defy Medical (if I can't get my main doc to prescribe). We...

Is there any members out there that know the docs in the Columbus Ohio area that prescribe HCG along with their TRT treatment?

Could I just have low lh and fsh for no reason? It bothers me that I've never uncovered a root cause.

Struggling with low T for years, finally going to fix it

I will definitely look in to it. I have reached out to BodyLogic since they have a couple spots in Columbus, OH where I'm located. Maybe the Clomid works and I don't have to worry about any of this anyway :P

Struggling with low T for years, finally going to fix it

Long story short, I've been struggling with low T for years. I've tested as low as 134 and as high as 450 (highest I've ever tested - at 21 years old). Basically, every blood test I've ever gotten shows the following: low total T, low free T, low/normal LH, low/normal FSH. Here's my latest...
