    Opinions on Low t clinics

You made a long story too short. How old are you? Living at your parents is one thing but do they run your life? And do you plan on going to the doctors office every week for the rest of your life? And do you not recognize that your last sentence is you telling everyone who has access to the...

    Going on TRT AI Question

When I started with Defy I was prescribed low dose AI as well. I spoke with the Dr. about ordering it and not taking it unless needed and he had no issue with that. Within a couple weeks I was retaining water and feeling hot all the time even when nobody else was so I started the AI and felt...

    Did I rush into TRT

I personally don't think you rushed into it. You were having symptoms and your testosterone was low. You tried Clomid and like many people who try Clomid it simply didn't work. When I started last year at 39y I had a couple results in the high 400's for total test. My free test was around 8 on...

Drastic change in blood sugar at 3 weeks after starting TRT.

Testosterone does increase insulin sensitivity from what I understand. Also, I am not sure what your daily activity looks like but studies have shown that hitting a certain amount of steps is one of the best things you can do for your blood sugar levels so simply getting some walking in everyday...

Doctor only does bloodwork @ my low.

If you were in the 600's before you started and you are only 33y old, why not stop TRT see where you end up? I don't think a good TRT doctor would have put you on Testosterone with those levels without making sure it wasn't something else causing your problems first.

New to T/HCG - Some Questions

I'm no expert, but if you are still taking the Anastrazole, you should stop. And then more Testoterone as 417 is not going to get it done for most guys.

TRT - Trouble After Years of Success

Was the 200mg every 10 days what you have been doing for the last 10 years or that's only within the last year when you were feeling bad?

    Sex drive and semen

Before and after starting TRT I have had good sex drive. I noticed within a couple weeks of starting testosterone that my ejaculated volume decreased a lot and I was on HCG from the beginning. It does seem to have improved some over time but not completely back to pre trt levels. Intensity has...

    Are calories overlooked?

You're going to get labs two weeks after coming of testosterone and then a few weeks later you're going to get labs again and if your testosterone has come up you're going to attribute that to your diet?

**Woman Defy patient, very unhappy, need advice/help

I would call in the morning and hold until someone answers. I called today and was on hold for 3 min before someone picked up. It times out after 7 min I think at which point you would have to leave a message but I would just hang up and cal back a little later. My personal experience with Defy...

**Woman Defy patient, very unhappy, need advice/help

What is the mg/ml concentrstion of your testosterone and how often are you taking it? If you are only a couple weeks away from getting labs I would get them and go from there. I have been with Defy for a year and they have been nothing but helpful. Whatever you do, let us know what happens...

Negative issues with TRT..How many of you?

I personally have been on Testosterone for a year. Feel great and have since the beginning. I did do a lot of research before starting testosterone and I think thats important as you want to make sure you are doing it right and for the right reasons. In addition to many guys simply going to a...

    Is .25mg really 1/4 of a milligram

Problem is a gram is 4000 times larger than .25mg.

    Is .25mg really 1/4 of a milligram

I'm not an expert on scales and yours might be adequate. However .25 mg is a very light weight even for a reloading scale. When reloading you measure in grains and usually down to .1 grains. .25mg comes out to around. 004 grains which could be too fine for many reloading scales. Of course that...

Poll-What would you rate your TRT experience?

At this point I would give it a 4. I have only been on it for 11 months but so far it's been great. Time will tell.

Low SHBH means more free Test, So why TRT?

Since you don't have lab values for your free T but you did have low testosterone and symptoms of low testosterone which went away when you started TRT the logical conclusion would be that you did not have a good free T level.

    Is .25mg really 1/4 of a milligram

It could be your scale. If you have a scale that is calibrated to weigh things way heavier and your check weight is substantially heavier, it's possible that it could be accurate for heavier objects but when you put .25mg on it then it might not be accurate.

    Chasing the Testosterone high —

Part of the problem in our world is that there are people walking around thinking 900-1000 total testosterone levels are too high. Also, you're making some pretty huge assumptions about what is considered normal. Lots of people over 40 want sex everyday and nobody thinks they're creepy. In...

Is TRT for Optimal Results worth it?

You don't have to stay on forever, but if you're going on it because you have low T and don't feel great what would be someone's motivation to go back to that state in the future aside from medical necessity?

I guess I'll be supplementing then. That was the first and last time I will be donating blood.

How much does giving blood drop blood levels?

Before starting testosterone my hematocrit was 46. On my 3 month follow up labs it was 48. My next set of labs was for 6 months later. I made the mistake of giving blood a month before those labs were drawn. There was a blood drive at work and I assumed it was on the rise so I figured why not...

I'm wondering how much giving blood will drop your Hematocrit? Also if anyone knows, I would be interested in finding out how much it drops Feritin?

Is TRT for Optimal Results worth it?

I would rather be bald than take Finasteride. If you decide to go on Testosterone you could always see what your doctor is thinking and then do some research. I see you take anastrszole and I would be suspicious of that unless you have labs and symptoms that suggest a need.

Is TRT for Optimal Results worth it?

There is no way for anyone to know what's best for you because you say you feel good. I will say that my last two T numbers were 490 and 470 before I went on Testosterone. I decided to go on because I wasn't able to recover from exercise and my numbers had been dropping for a couple years. Other...

Different schools of thought between doctors

Well to be fair, the T clinic doctor stands to make more money off you if he gives good service and you feel good. On top of which that doctor has treated lots of people with testosterone. Your other doctor, it's a toss up what kind of care you will receive.

Question for guys doing high dose cypionate

What percentage of the population would you assume uses testosterone to improve physical appearance and athletic performance? I would have to imagine it is less than 5% of guys and they threw out the top 5%. In addition to that many of the guys who actually check their labs while doing steroids...

Question for guys doing high dose cypionate

Feeling great is exactly the goal of TRT. I'm not advocating for having the highest test level possible, only stating that for some it is probably OK.

Question for guys doing high dose cypionate

I don't doubt at all that most doctors are seeing numbers in the range you listed. The only thing I can think of for the discrepancy between Labcorp findings and many doctors is that I imagine a young guy walking around with a test level of 1100 is never going in to see a doctor and thus it's...
