hi i wanted to know if the oestrogen rebound after stopping arimidex is a real thing ? do you have to taper off arimidex and if you stop it cold turkey , that would mean that the E2 level would raise higher than the initial value ? (and not coming back to the initial value , pre AI )

hi , I have recently order aromasin to couteract dutasteride side effect I was plannig on taking low dose such as 12 .5 mg twice a week BUT i have read that it is a steroidal aromatase inhbitoir which act similarly to DHT ??? so can't it cause hair loss ? should i take arimidex instead ? thanks

Thanks a lot for your answer doctor . So according to you i could take dutasteride 0.5 mg daily and low dose aromasin ( 25 mg twice a week ) with no issue ? Like this i will at least stop my hair loss and prevent the unwanted side caused by the high oestradiol .

thanks for your answer . Sure if the gynecomastia is caused by the low DHT ,it will not help But if it is caused by the high oestradiol maybe it could help ? I was thinking of maybe trying tamoxifen/raloxifen which block the receptor
