    Statins: Friends or Enemies?

Let's not forget there's a multi billion dollar statin industry at stake here and hence a lot of money will be going towards studies that show great results. In the past I have reduced my LDL by 60% using niacin, oats and red yeast rice. The latter is a natural statin so is it the same? I...

FDA: Avoid Cipro, Similar Drugs for Common Infections

I experienced these side effects 3 months ago. At the time it felt like my leg bones were being ripped out. Fortunately I seem to be getting over it. The urologist said in his twenty years prescribing he'd never seen any issues with Cipro and that he had no idea where my pain was coming from...

Hi Dr Saya, First of all I have to say you have an excellent team at Defy and they are both responsive and helpful. Well done. I was expecting a call from Sam later today but I am happy to accept your advice here. Thanks. The changes in my body are intriguing and go beyond the sexual side, I...

New to TRT - quick labs after start

Libido is certainly better, my interest has gone from zero to quite interested. That feels very good I am happy to tell you. Nighttime and morning wood is back to something from my youth which is very pleasing. The interesting thing is that the libido and the erections seem somewhat...

New to TRT - quick labs after start

Jackie, I am just wondering whether the "adjusting" should be taking place at supraphysiological hormone levels? I've not found anything that is for or against this. When you are in the trough with T at 1496 and E2 (sens) at 47 it seems counter-intuitive to add a further Test Cyp/HCG round to...

New to TRT - quick labs after start

The blood draw was prior to the pin so I had received nothing for 3.5 days. Hence my surprise at the levels. I Was expecting to see something low. Compared to the protocols of others I had thought I was on the conservative side.

New Guy Here. TSH 3.9. Very fatigued, stomach/digestion issues, brain fog, little motivation, etc.

Maybe it is glandular fever (Epstein Barr). Did you get a sudden onset of fever, sweating and fatigue before this started? It can reappear over the years with chronic fatigue.

    Hi everyone - new member

This sounds so familiar - the attack on the nerves is very significant. I went to the ER as the numbness and tingling in right leg and arm came on very quickly - they gave me a brain MRI that revealed nothing.

    Hi everyone - new member

Thanks Mica, it's great that someone else can confirm this. I also thought I was getting MS or that I had a stroke. It was the clomid as I was getting nerve issues every day until I stopped the drug. No doubt clomid works but it has this nasty impact on some people.

    Hi everyone - new member

It's now two weeks since I took a Clomid tablet and it appears to have washed out of my system. The nerve problems have finally gone. I didn't mention before that one of the problems was an excruciating pain between body and left testes that lasted 5 minutes at one point. Not good. I found this...

    Hi everyone - new member

Thanks for your reply ERO. The nerve experiences I've had seem to correlate just too well with starting Clomid, I'm guessing I may just be overly sensitive to the drug. The doctor is full time anti-aging/restorative medicine and has used T for his own athletic goals but he did say he had a...

    Hi everyone - new member

Hello everyone, 57 years old. My recent medical history is "undetectable" T, high BP (150-170). No previous TRT. Was put on Clomid 50mg twice a week and around week 5 I started feeling different and a little bit better. I noticed a little tingling in my hands but shrugged it off. Then while...
