Dr. Rouzier interview on "Estrogen in Men"

Awhile back, Dr. Crisler started a thread here regarding estradiol management, and his concern that some of his fellow docs were not managing it much at all, and letting it run wild. That was his swan song on the Roundtable. Jay wants an apology from Dr. Crisler to be let back on the show. To...

Dr. Rouzier interview on "Estrogen in Men"

Of course then, your numbers are based on a male population with declining T levels. If this is true, maybe Rouzier's 75-90 isn't far off. Is he trying to account for overall declining T levels? Could be.

Dr. Rouzier interview on "Estrogen in Men"

What exactly is this "normal range" you refer to for E2? Some say there is no such thing. What is it based on? What are normal levels for healthy young males? Rouzier said between 75-90, I believe. Not sure what he bases this on.

TRT without the use of Aromatase Inhibitors

If what you're saying is correct, and free E2 is what absolutely matters, akin to free T, then yes, most of the past discussions here over estradiol levels have been largely moot. So, how much does that free E2 lab run?

Dr. Rouzier interview on "Estrogen in Men"

Thanks to Chopsuey for posting this within another thread. I thought this interview might be worthy of its own thread for all the members who might have missed it buried in that other thread. Part 1: Part 2:

TRT without the use of Aromatase Inhibitors

How would one contact Rouzier to ask him? I sent an email to one of his sites, but I'm not sure he'll ever see it. I'd really like to see some of the guys here post these questions at the TOT Roundtable chat room, when Dr. Nichols, et al, are all right there. That's my plan, anyway. I'd also...

TRT without the use of Aromatase Inhibitors

Here is an email I got from Jay. Given his off-putting tone/attitude, I wonder if Doc Nichols isn't making a mistake with this. I asked Jay if there would be diagnostic equipment at his office. Here's his answer: "Eventually, we will have everything. But it will be a slow and gradual...

TRT without the use of Aromatase Inhibitors

Of course, this just begs the question as to why Dr. Rouzier refers to such "invalid testing in the first place". Has anyone ever asked him directly about this? Is the immunoassay consistent at all by how much it overestimates actual serum concentration? In other words, does it overestimate...

TRT without the use of Aromatase Inhibitors

Rouzier's never been on the Roundtable, to my knowledge. I think those numbers were thrown out there by Dr. Nichols, Jay's new business partner.

TRT without the use of Aromatase Inhibitors

Per Dr. Crisler's request, I shared his comments with some other folks. Here's what I got back in return: "LOL. There is no such thing as “Top of Normal Range”. John doesn't understand this stuff anymore. We have moved into a diff era now. Move into the Big Boy space is my best advice to...

TRT without the use of Aromatase Inhibitors

If the "those strongly opposed to AI use" crowd base their position on estrogen studies which Dr. Crisler says are "invalid", that should be the area of discussion. If these studies are "invalid", why doesn't the aforementioned "crowd" not recognize this?? Oh, and the HCG/backfilling the...

TRT without the use of Aromatase Inhibitors

Dr. N------will simply say that he doesn't raise T to supraphysiological levels. As for the invalid estrogen studies you mention, are these the same studies that Dr. Rouzier references? I'm not arguing either way, but how does a doctor with his supposed HRT experience not recognize that these...

25mg Test E, EOD, feel great & don't want to start HCG

And since there are no studies currently, Dr. Meehan sides with optimum human physiology as his reason for wanting to keep backfilling the pathways. Whether one agrees with him or not, I'm beginning to appreciate his opinions more and more as he doesn't always fall in step with Dr. Nichols, and...

25mg Test E, EOD, feel great & don't want to start HCG

Skip to the 1-hour mark, and you will hear both sides. Dr. Nichols doesn't prescribe it; Dr. Kominiarek rarely does. Dr. Jim Meehan does use it with his patients, and gives his reasons here. Good info, I think.

    Rouzier's... HCG

Does anyone know Dr. Rouzier's position on the use of HCG, outside of fertility? I ask because some of his "followers" on the TOT Roundtable (Kominiarek, Nichols) do not prescribe it, except in extreme cases.

Why Does Testosterone Increase Blood Thickness?

Should it be managed at all? I think Crisler stopped managing it based on Rouzier's reaearch. This prompted Nelson to respond that it borders on malpractice not to manage it. Another can of worms..

Dr. Eugene Shippen on estradiol, aromatization...

By the time a woman hits 65, her estrogen is low, and she becomes susceptible to Alz. If estrogen caused Alz, young women would get it since their estrogen is normal/high.

Dr. Eugene Shippen on estradiol, aromatization...

He could claim that since testosterone levels have been falling for decades now, these estradiol numbers are all sub-optimum.

Dr. Eugene Shippen on estradiol, aromatization...

These questions should be taken to the TOT Roundtable tomorrow evening for Doc Nichols to address.

    Saliva testing?

Saliva testing is more accurate than blood testing, with regards to testosterone, or so says one trt doc. Anyone here use saliva instead of blood? 'When your body manufacturers hormones, they are bound to proteins in the blood. Just a small percentage actually break lose from their carrier...
