Natural Testosterone diurnal patterns? trying to dial in TRT and dose timing, etc.

I use Androgel and hit 1400's at peak and around 460's the next morning before application. Obviously I'm taking too much Androgel but you can see that it doesn't work like injections which give you a steady state, no matter how often you inject. If you want to try to match the rhythm, it's...

Etiology: What do you think caused your low T (hypogonadism)?

I had pain in my testicles back in 2001. I started seeing doctors and they kept telling me it was a STD or prostatitis or epididymitis and all they did was give me painkillers or antibiotics. I saw numerous urologists and they all kept saying the same thing. Fast forward to 2010-2013, I had...

    Question for those injecting daily...

I've got a question about test C and E with a daily protocol. Doesn't the ester 'build up' in your bloodstream eventually so would there be a peak? I know test suspension or androgel peaks in a couple of hours but there is no ester. Isn't the ester the thing that gives it the half life of...

Why Does Testosterone Increase Blood Thickness?

Not all people have that problem. I've been on TRT for almost 5 years now and I run in the 1300's total T. I get my blood tested every 6 months and my HCT and HGB levels are always at the mid ranges. I don't give blood or use aspirin. I wouldn't worry about it.

T Levels - Are the super stable levels of ED and EOD protocols desirable?

I think the variation does help. I've been running over 1300 for the past 3 years now and I've never had any issues with E2, HGB or HCT. My blood work is better now in my 40's than in my 20's and I think it's due to the daily variations that come with Androgel. My body isn't running a 1300 T...

Injection Frequency - Why aren't Daily and EOD protocols more common?

That's what I use. The 31-5/8 for hCG. I thought that could be used for T but it couldn't

Injection Frequency - Why aren't Daily and EOD protocols more common?

With the daily injections, how do you get that thick oil in the little diabetic syringe? I've been trying to figure that out for a while now. I pulled out the plunger once and tried to 'backfill' it and the testosterone just squirted out.

Is TRT for Optimal Results worth it?

I was at 290 and 277 and felt just fine. I was working out and deadlifting 495lbs. I had an insatiable libido and no erection or sexual problems at all. Blood work was great. I felt fine. So, why did I jump on T? I read about the dangers of low T and decided to head trouble off at the...

Misinformation like this is why it's hard to get TRT

https://pagesix.com/2018/03/30/tarek-el-moussa-steroids-ruined-my-life/ So, this guy has a whole host of issues but the one thing they focus on is that he's on TRT from an "anti aging specialist" and they don't even call it TRT, they call it "steroids" It reminds me when Charlie Sheen blamed...

Is doctor being totally honest with me

You might have a battle on two fronts. Are you using insurance? Some insurance companies require pre-authorization for TRT and they want to see a low number before they approve it. My insurance wanted to see 2 tests under 300 before they authorized it. I had several under 300 and my doc...

If you are feeling great, how often do you pull labs?

I do it once a year with my regular check up. Why test so much if you're dialed in and feel great?

Uro Signs Off on Labs - Very Upset

What a crazy doc. Why would he want you to say you're suicidal? So he can dirty up your medical records? Next thing you know, he'll be trying to admit you to the mental ward and telling you it's for your own safety.

Uro Signs Off on Labs - Very Upset

I'm not surprised. It's something about NY and testosterone. They act like testosterone is oxycodone around here. You have problems finding a doctor to prescribe it, then you'll have pharmacists looking at you funny when you try to fill the script. I've had an easier time filling a...

Life after TRT - What now?

I know some of the guys here do daily injections. Have you thought about that? I'm guessing that the small doses help keep the spike in RBC's down and that's what helps.

Life after TRT - What now?

Apnea impacts RBC because you're starving of oxygen at night. Your body sees that and responds by created more RBC's. Fix the apnea and that will help. I'm coming on 5 years of TRT and I just put on my gel, take my hCG EOD and go about my business. No donations, no worries about blood, etc...

    Is This Too Much?

You're right. That's why most of his patients stockpile their test. He prescribes it solely to give his patients one full bottle a month but he tells us to shoot 200mgs (and even that might be too much). He prescribed me 200mg's of test and 200mg's of deca once he diagnosed me (and wrote the...

    Is This Too Much?

And to clarify.....I'm LOL'ing because I have been thinking the same thing for the past 4 years. My wife constantly asks, "How is he still practicing" when he prescribes so much....and deca to boot at 500mg's a month. I tell her the same thing. This guy is very well know in the TRT circles...

    Is This Too Much?

Hello, It's Doctor O. He gives his patients 1 bottle a month (writes the script at 500mg's a week but tells us to take 200mg's a week). I was hitting 1440 Total T level at 160 so I cut it down to 120 and didn't tell him. He also prescribes 1 box of HCG a month so I have a ton of it stockpiled.

    Is This Too Much?

Let me ask a question, is independent bloodwork, like with DefyMedical, available to you? If it is, I would do that, if not, like if you live in NYC, then I wouldn't. You'll need bloodwork to do this. You'll have to titrate your own dosage and you'll need blood work to do it. You also have a...

    Is This Too Much?

Those are pretty good numbers, naturally. I take 500iu's of hGC every other day but that's what works for me. My E2 is 33 right now and I don't take an AI. I adjusted my own dosage by running my own bloods. When I was on injections, my doc prescribed 200mg's a week and I was take 60mg's...

I took a peek at my Labs

If he's feeling great and his blood work comes back good, my question is, why change it? If someone had low T and no symptoms, he would be told to leave it alone and not get on TRT so why does the reverse not apply? If he has high levels, and no symptoms, why not leave it alone? I'v been...
