    Left ventricle Hypertrophy

Gotta be frank man...it doesn’t matter. The most important thing is making sure your BP is under 120/80 always and pray for LVH regression if you indeed have it. Maybe it’s caused by hematocrit, maybe E2, maybe testosterone, maybe something else, maybe it’s essential hypertension like 80% of...

    Left ventricle Hypertrophy

My man, buy a home BP monitor. They’re cheap and you should have one. The monitors at stores (the machines) are not reliable!

Feedback on Blood Labs - 8 Months TRT

Your non-HDL is high which means your LDL particle count is probably high. Niacin may help (the Slo Niacin has been the most tolerable for me in my experience). But you should look into other options as well. ezetimibe is a non-statin option to lower LDL. I’ve been taking it for the past six...

    Left ventricle Hypertrophy

Hypertension causes LVH, full stop. Something like 48% of people with stage one hypertension develop LVH 5 years later. OP, look..I don’t want to me a fear monger here but LVH left untreated can *kill you*. The heart gradually reduces in its ability to pump blood, and the heart muscles...

Blood Labs after 8 weeks on TRT

I think my numbers would be similar to the OP’s on 200mg a week without HCG. I wonder how old you are, goldenleft? For me (age 35), 144mg / week without HCG puts me at 664 ng/dL (EOD injections), SHBG 45, free T “direct” 12.6 pg/mL (Range: 8.7-25.1). I felt pretty bad at this level. No AI so my...

Is there any evidence that HCG on cycle makes PCT easier?

According to this presentation by a Polish physician who uses only HCG (monotherapy), men using HCG for 2+ years who stop using it see their testosterone levels drop by 50% and then return to baseline (or above baseline) about 100 days later: (Relevant portion at 24:52) In studies I've read...

    Left ventricle Hypertrophy

Based on my reading, anything over 140/90 for sustained periods (years+) can cause LVH / issues. So if you were sometimes around 140/90 you would be at risk. I am very happy to hear you are well taken care of now! I have read that Chlortalidone may be good for LVH reduction: "Chlortalidone...

    Left ventricle Hypertrophy

Thank you for sharing your story. I’m wondering, what was your blood pressure before your hypertension treatment, e.g. when you were first diagnosed with the 45% ejection fraction?

Hibiscus tea contains an ACE inhibitor. I would recommend the poster take pharma BP meds if possible. Something like hibiscus could be okay if he had no access to medication or wasn’t willing or able to see a doctor for medication.

More Pleasurable Orgasms Within Hours of an HCG Injection.

The same happens with me. I’ve reduced my HCG because I can’t deal with feeling amazing one day and then flat the next. HCG is so unpredictable in its effect for me. But it does sometimes work and I feel completely incredible- perfect mood, libido, and my orgasms are the best I’ve ever had. I...

    Does Empower do custom compounding?

Does Empower do custom compounding or can you only order what’s available on their site? E.g. can my doctor have them make, say, testosterone enanthate in 50 mg/mL or something like that (just as an example)? How much more do they charge for this, does anyone know?

Cessation of TRT a good idea for me?

I’ve never had issues with ED while on HRT, though I didn’t have morning/night erections consistently until about six months in. I’m not sure why. I had moderate ED prior to HRT and sometimes took cialis prior to sex. Now I’d be sacred to even try it- so unnecessary for me! My libido is good...

Cessation of TRT a good idea for me?

I too come from a family with a lot of early heart disease. It's why I became obsessed with cardiovascular health. The good news is that heart disease is almost always preventable / stoppable. If I was in your shoes (and I kind of am!), I would: * Get your BP consistently under 120/80 by...

High HCT - trying to decide whether to get phlebotomy

The most important thing is to monitor your blood pressure. Do you? In some men, at some point the increase in hematocrit will cause an increase in blood pressure. See this thread: Hematocrit, TRT --> systemic vascular resistance response Dr. Thomas O'Connor, per this video, says his...

Cessation of TRT a good idea for me?

Yeah, what I’m saying is that it doesn’t work that way. At least as far as I can tell. It seems like it would make sense that HCG would “suck” the LDL-C out of the blood, but cells synthesize the cholesterol they need-including the gonads. The lipoproteins floating in the blood’s primary value...

Cessation of TRT a good idea for me?

I disagree with the assumption that without LH serum cholesterol will increase. While this seems like sound deductive reasoning, it’s not how cholesterol works in the body. We also see no statistically significant rise in LDL-C in TRT studies. Studies on PCSK9 inhibitors which drove LDL-C to...

    Left ventricle Hypertrophy

There are many inexpensive home BP monitors available that are relatively reliable. I use this one from amazon: Robot Check I am surprised a doctor didn't tell you to start monitoring your blood pressure at home. Are you in the United States? I know some other countries have a higher...

    Left ventricle Hypertrophy

Did you try the hydrochlorothiazide? Do you have a home BP monitor? I can't go into all the details here of possible protocol changes for your HRT, but there are many threads here. I do subQ injections with an insulin syringe daily, which keeps my levels very stable. This gives me confidence...

    Left ventricle Hypertrophy

Based on the Tru-T.org calculator, at your trough your free T is 30.08 ng/dL, with the theraputic range listed as 16-31 ng/dl. Filling in the blanks and assuming a 100 ng/dL-per day drop off and a once-a-week injection schedule, your peak total T could be 1422 ng/dL, with a free T (tru-t.org...

    Left ventricle Hypertrophy

Based on your other post, I’m guessing these problems with blood pressure didn’t happen until you started TRT. Has your BP been elevated like this for the past 4 years on TRT? Do you have the following labs?: Total testosterone, free testosterone, estradiol, SHBG, CBC? If not, if I was in...

Did they do an echocardiogram? What did the cardiologist have to say? Did the cardiologist tell you your ejection fraction? Was it normal? Edit: I just saw your post here: Trt and high BP/Hematocrit. High blood pressure can cause LVH. In your case, fixing your blood pressure should be your...

    Trt and high BP/Hematocrit

When they check your “iron levels” at a blood bank, they’re just checking your hemoglobin. That doesn’t mean your body’s iron stores are good. Ferritin is a pretty good measure of iron stores. Was that 18.2 taken at the blood bank?

    Trt and high BP/Hematocrit

I think for some men, at a certain point hematocrit may increase BP. 18.2 hemoglobin sounds about at the level guys start seeing issues. Have you had your ferritin level checked?

Reducing ferritin levels to lower the risk of heart attack and cancer

I found another interesting paper on this subject in one of the American Heart Association journals: https://www.ahajournals.org/doi/10.1161/01.STR.0000173172.82880.72 Ferritin may be an important CVD risk marker. So interesting.

    Enclomiphene vs Natesto and SHBG

I don’t believe any of the peptide sites are selling legit enclomiphene. I’ve looked into it in the past. I’ve also seen bloodwork from some users that look like they were taking an AI, as E2 decreased significantly (not expected on a SERM as far as I know?) So please be careful. A lot of these...

Anyone taking Statins ( Crestor )

Does your insurance cover it or do you pay out of pocket? I’ve read they are around $15k/year— maybe yours is cheaper? What does it have your particle count and LDL-C at? I have read some people can get insurance coverage with proof of statin intolerance but I’m not sure.
