    Sensitive nipples, aching and tenderness

Definitely ask your doctor…. My first guess would have been high E or high prolactin but you have neither. When did you do your labs in relation to your last dose? Maybe your lab values have to do with timing?

Enanthate shortage . . . and how many doses from your vial?

Never mind - yes Hikma’s test E does contain sesame oil. Answered my own question! https://mms.mckesson.com/product/836380/Hikma-Pharmaceuticals-USA-00143975001 https://imgcdn.mckesson.com/CumulusWeb/Click_and_learn/SDS_9WEST_TESTOSTERONE_ENANTHATE_INJECTION.pdf By the way, notice that the...

    Natesto (nasal testosterone spray)

Quick update. I had another TT lab and this time I was up to 520. Still not as good as t cyp (750-ish) but at least I am up to therapeutic levels with Natesto. Hot flashes have decreased (but not gone away). Maybe there’s hope yet? Only thing I didn’t have LH/FSH retested. I hoping to see if...

Ask The Urologist Anything (Dr Michael Rotman)

Hi @DrRotman . Thank you for answering all our TRT questions here! It’s very helpful that this is all public because many of us may have the same questions that you already answered as an expert! I want to throw a couple of questions your way: * How do you differentiate between true...

    What We Should Be Eating

@Gman86 Good to hear your opinion. There’s more info and links to scientific publications on that site if you are interested in learning about an opposing viewpoint. And yes, they advocate for non-processed as well.

For the love of shoulder shots

How/where do you inject glutathione? I used it before but it burned each time no matter where (subq)... plus it made the area a little itchy for 2-3 days.

Trt options in men with BPH

Do you want a non-expert opinion? See a urologist. :) DHT is not the only thing that can contribute to BPH. Before trying to adjust DHT, your doctor should test things like current DHT/Estradiol levels, and inflammatory markers, and whatever else can contribute to it. As far as your original...

Prostate cancer genotyping for risk stratification and precision treatment

    What We Should Be Eating

Check out the Lifestyle Medicine website. They're main belief - which is backed by research - is on having a plant-based diet to prevent and even reverse some chronic conditions, including type 2 diabetes. https://lifestylemedicine.org/nutrition-as-medicine/...

Absolute minimum dose of HCG for fertility?

@madman once the Leydig and Steroli cells become "dormant" for a long time due to exogenous testosterone, are hCG+FSH still able to revive them? Even when they have become "stubborn"? (Also by stubborn do you mean dissensitized to hCG/LH?)

Is it possible to reduce Inhibin?

Thanks guys. So what I'm reading in the articles above is that both FSH and intra-testicular testosterone are needed for spermatogenesis, and in particular, for Steroli and germ cell function. But, many other hormones and processes are also requried for spermatogenesis - transferrin, TSH...

Hormones and Health Acronym List from ExcelMale.com

Hi @Nelson Vergel - this is great, but the post is quite hidden. This is the first time I see it! :) It would be really helpful if you added a javascript plug-in for term definitions, so acronyms are automatically hilighted in posts and people can hover over to see the definition in a tooltip...

500 IU of hCG Twice Per Week Used Alone in Men with Low Testosterone and ED- Study Results

@sammmy agreed. But, it is also talking about a 79% average increase which for purely hypogonadal men is still not enough to increase to even borderline low T levels. For example, I have secondary hypogonadism and before TRT, my total T was running around 150. So 79% increase = 150 x 1.79 =...

Without Benzoyl Benzoate or Benzoyl Alcohol? Outside of compounded, I think you would have to look at enanthate products instead.

Is it possible to reduce Inhibin?

I’ve been reading a lot about testicular atrophy and how to increase testicular size. It appears that FSH could affect size way more than LH because it affects the size of tubules which take up more volume than the individual cells that produce testosterone. But as you all know… FSH is very...

    Drug Shortage - Testosterone Cypionate

It’s probably more due to the increased focus in GLP-1’s (ozempic and family)… A couple different pharmacists have told me the weight loss meds craze has caused production shifts everywhere that resulted in shortages of other meds. :(

My Experience with Testopel and Ideal State

Thank you so much @john.davidson25 !! When you had extrusions, did that happen only during the first 10 days or afterwards? The urologist told me I would wear some kind of post-op sticky pad for 10 days and couldn’t do things like squats or swimming during that time. And wow, 10 pellets...

    Subcutaneous Injection Protocol

I prefer 27g or 28g so it’s easier to push it out. Love handles are tricky- I had bled a but when trying them… it’s hard to find a less vascular spit at least for me. There’s an outer upper buttocks spot that also works well. I do pinch the skin but then let go slowly as I push the liquid out...

500 IU of hCG Twice Per Week Used Alone in Men with Low Testosterone and ED- Study Results

Yeah but it’s not a large enough increase into therapeutic levels. For someone like myself starting at 150, it would raise T to 268 on average… still low. The six-week duration and low number of participants also make this study a little doubtful in my opinion.

    Should I switch to Defy?

I love Defy but I think long term, all the out of pocket costs (for non-FDA approved meds) will be too high. Labs and visits are covered by insurance though.

    Subcutaneous Test C - Supplies

I finally settled on 31g 5/16” for hcg, and 28g 1/2” for testosterone- both subq. No issues with dull needles. The 31g is sometimes hard to pull out of the skin though.

Tips for insurance coverage of TRT and ED meds

Yes, depending on your copays, GoodRx can be a better value especially for popular generics like test cyp, tadalafil (cialis) and sildenafil (viagra). In my case, I use GoodRx Gold for daily cialis but everything else has a copay of only $10 so it is cheaper with insurance. There are some...
