A different dosing strategy with bremelanotide (PT-141) yields dramatically better results

Hah! Sorry for the acronym. Erection Quality! I think that is old Peak T abbreviation.

A different dosing strategy with bremelanotide (PT-141) yields dramatically better results

I haven't started yet. Doing some year end shock wave sessions which really boost EQ for me. Not sure I want to do both at the same time. Will keep you posted.

Advice on whether or not to start TRT or look for other causes

I had SHBG in the low 60's on total T of 400 when I started TRT 8 years ago at age 48. Fast forward after several protocol changes, and I run around 900 total T with SHBG at 32. The exogenous T had the intended effect, keeping my free T now in the upper middle range. More importantly, I...

    Digestive Issues on Ketogenic Diet

Agree with Vince. Keto isn't for everyone, and you had an exemplary A1C. Find a low carb version that makes sense for you. I just try and emphasize lean meats and veggies in my day to day.

Hacks & Tricks for Erections on Non-Trimix Nights

I like a lot of your suggestions, with the exception of cold shower! Shrinkage!! :) Serious question: what is your rough percentage of using Trimix vs. going without for intercourse?

    Botox for your sexual health.

Ribeye, I wanted to thank you for posting all of your experiences with these different treatments. Also, glad to hear that the shockwave treatment helped someone other than just myself. I realize that it doesn't work everyone, especially considering the wide variety of machines and protocols...

Male regenerative therapies - Start of the art

Agree with your first paragraph. In a lot of aging men, that nerve damage is due to type 2 diabetes. Hypertension (like I have) can also damage the delicate endothelial lining even without plaque buildup and subsequently cause ED. Lots of causes, that all can intertwine.

Male regenerative therapies - Start of the art

I would agree with DG. While I certainly have my mental issues as it relates to ED, the majority of ED cases as we get older are vascular or hormonal causes. The psychogenic component can certainly make it worse.

Male regenerative therapies - Start of the art

Not bad on the $650. Hopefully you can report back. Madman just posted a double-blind study showing a trial combining shockwave and PRP. Be interesting to see the results. Bottom line for me: I view these restorative therapies as a form of PT for the penis. They can help some folks but are...

A different dosing strategy with bremelanotide (PT-141) yields dramatically better results

We have communicated via his portal, so not totally sure. He said it would be in the prescription instructions. Will let the group know.

A different dosing strategy with bremelanotide (PT-141) yields dramatically better results

At my doctor appointment in September, he mentioned there is a new study out showing the positive effects of low daily dosing of PT141 versus the "on demand" high dose protocol. Similar benefits but much lower sides. I will see if I can get my hand on it and post here. In the meantime, I had...

Would I be making a mistake?

I started at age 48 after wrestling with symptoms for over two years (ED, low libido, terrible moods). But at age 43, the trend lines will not go in the positive direction. You have to decide if want to go on TRT with no apparent symptoms yet. I would wait.

Would I be making a mistake?

Did you mention your age in your post or did I miss it? I think that is a big factor when considering to jump on TRT.

DHT: How High is Too High

A very timely post! I was at my doctor yesterday for my six month labs and my DHT was 115. (I am on Test Cyp IM as opposed to cream). The reference range for Quest is something like 15!! - 65. My doctor said the old range went up to 90, but the average DHT number for US males has gone down...

So who is happy with TRT? Who wish they never started?

Been on it for over 8 years, now age 55. Pre -treatment was in the upper 300's with low free T. Make a huge positive difference for me in all facets. Hope I never have to go off!

Shockwave Therapy for ED and Peyronie's Disease

I have used LISWT twice: 10 sessions in 2020 and 5 sessions in January of this year with the type of machine described above that actually showed some results. I can honestly say that both times it helped my EQ over a 9-12 month period. Was it dramatic? No. But it definitely did help. Other...

    Pellets vs injections

Agree with what Systemlord said about the honeymoon period. You typically get that with any delivery method. I have done injections from the beginning 8 years ago for me, my wife has her HRT via pellets. Like SL, I like the control of being able to change the dosage. It's no use comparing...

Can you take non-daily 10mg Cialis, daily?

ED meds can lose their effectiveness if your underlying conditions continue to deteriorate, primarily the endothelial lining of your arteries or continuing buildup of plaque.

Study shows lower Alzheimer's risk in Viagra users

This data was gleaned from large pools of life insurance data. Not actual clinical trials. It was a surprise to many when the Viagra trend emerged. Of course, you would need actual double blind studies to prove efficacy against a disease. Wonder if they have started those?

Can you take non-daily 10mg Cialis, daily?

I take 5mg Cialis every day, and love to add 25 to 50mg Viagra for extended sessions with the wife. If I go over those amounts, I definitely notice the usual sides. If I stay in that range, so side effects.

Homocysteine Blood Test - Symptoms, Complications, and Treatment

Probably should mention that many folks like me with elevated homocysteine levels have a genetic MTHFR mutation that causes the problem. The test for this is also fairly simple and not that costly. Treatment is essentially the same: regular supplementation with methylated B vitamins. That...

    help with BP/meds

Jobshopper, I would be interested to hear what supplements have worked for you. I have tried several. Remain on: Citruline, Beet Powder, Magnesium and 5mg Cialis in addition to the Lisinopril.

    help with BP/meds

My sympathies. I have been on Lisinopril (40mg), and that has been good for the last several years, keeping me in the 120's, maybe low 130's. Took some readings last weekend that hit 140/80. Not terrible, but I hate the creep. I was coming off a crazy stressful week at work. Plus, I give...

My Experience with Testopel and Ideal State

40mg Test Cyp every 2.5-3 days, inject in thighs IM with 27g 1 inch needle. Took a year of experimenting to get the right protocol for me. Results in TT in the 850 range, with Free T and Bioavailability in the middle upper range. No AI and No HCG. My wife is on pellets, and I don't think...
