    Permanent ED from tamoxifen?

True. NO synthase is iron based enzyme so iron is crucial. Also there needs to be balance between estrogen which increases copper metabolism which increases SODs which keeps NO going via eradicating free radicals that are made when NO is synthesised. DHT is necessary to "release" NO. All NO...

    Permanent ED from tamoxifen?

But if this were true then using tamoxifen wouldnt make sense in hypogonadal situations. Also, OP is feeling suicidal. This isnt a case of despair due to ED. It's accompanying ED as a sign of low estrogenic activity (ED likely being a symptom of too high DHT in this case, not high E2, imo...

Persistent Low E2 symptoms lasting long after crash- Possible Solution or a little relief.

@KovaUkko Yeah man, I know exactly how this is. I actually fucked up because I was impatient too and started HCG way too soon after crashing with aromasin. Now I know it wasn't a smart decision - it actually impeded my recovery. Ugh, I'd slap my past self a few times. Have you used/do you use...

Persistent Low E2 symptoms lasting long after crash- Possible Solution or a little relief.

Dont try anything just yet. Explain in detail your history. When did you take tamoxifen, how much, when did the symptoms start, when did you start TRT and so on. Mention anything that might be useful.

Can estrogen crash cause desensitization/knock out of the estrogen receptor - lets discuss!

Zinc every day? I ask this because up to now everyone I've talked to that still experiences lingering low e2 symptoms after crashing e2 supplemented moderate to high amounts of zinc prior to crashing. Zinc has antiaromatase properties and is copper antagonizing (key mineral in estrogen...

Can estrogen crash cause desensitization/knock out of the estrogen receptor - lets discuss!

Yes, the problem is that coconutz likely deals with either downregulated aromatase or desensitivized estrogen receptors. The prog, dhea and pregnenolone he is making him much worse in this aspect. I agree that aromasin caused this. I'm in this boat as well. Let's revaluate. Beside test, npp -...

Any update on your anhedonia/depression and libido on npp?

Can estrogen crash cause desensitization/knock out of the estrogen receptor - lets discuss!

Interesting. It might be that in the presence of higher test levels body regulates androgen:estrogen activity with greater ease by converting preferentially to DHT since DHT can get further converted to 3b-diol which is a relatively potent estrogen (much less than estradiol, though). If it would...

Thanks for the update. Have you considered going off TRT for a HPTA reset and then going back?

I agree, that's a good point. I suppose it would be ER expression that would get especially upregulated due to the potential decrease in overall aromatase activity. It might be that explanation for decreased joint clicking etc. upon adding carbs in OP's case doesn't concern hormones that much.

    PLEASE HELP! My TRT Story

@bixt, Let me just probe your brain for a bit. Is PCT in your opinion required for people that have ran low dose TRT for a short period (3 months)? Would, hypothetically, HPTA come back online in full force, as you say, even without PCT, given enough time (say, 2 months)?

Low carb would also decrease 5AR. Many enzymes in various metabolic pathways require NADPH as a cofactor but aromatase is known to have the highest NADPH demands (3 whole NADPH molecules to convert test to e2). And you can't have NADPH without "sugar", carbs, it kinda is sugar itself. Your point...

Btw, have you checked your e2 levels before and after carnivore? Low carb diet is associated with decreased aromatase afaik.

Can estrogen crash cause desensitization/knock out of the estrogen receptor - lets discuss!

I see, that's quite low. I wonder why. Btw, do you have a history of SSRI use or finasteride use? Or heavy duty antibiotics? I suppose it's worth a shot doing less frequent injections.

Can estrogen crash cause desensitization/knock out of the estrogen receptor - lets discuss!

Dhts wreck libido because you need enough E2 to balance it off. E2 is what drives libido. Btw, what are your SHBG levels precisely?

Can estrogen crash cause desensitization/knock out of the estrogen receptor - lets discuss!

Yeah, I mean anxiety as a physical symptom, like chest tightness. That's a good point. Interesting. So I see it like this: E2 might fix this but it will be a bandaid. A good one but still... I want to solve this in a way so that we won't need any bandaids. So that we can be natty with 0 low e2...

Can estrogen crash cause desensitization/knock out of the estrogen receptor - lets discuss!

No, I did not feel dialed in. But - I actually didn't give it enough time. In fact, I should have tried this protocol for at least 1-2 months before deciding what to do with it. I had to drop it because it was giving me too much fatigue and I've just started a new job... I might try this again...

Can estrogen crash cause desensitization/knock out of the estrogen receptor - lets discuss!

When on solo test - do your joints ache or click or are just dry/stiff? Are only some affected? And what about anxiety - can you relax or is there always some tension? Yeah, possibly nandrolone can fix that. I'm interested to hear how you respond to it.

Information like this is very valuable. Thanks. Estrogen signalling can get vastly inhibited by excess progesterone and dht activity.

Can estrogen crash cause desensitization/knock out of the estrogen receptor - lets discuss!

O, that's great. DHT for example is extremely important but in my country it's hard to get too. The sample has to be send into another country and you have to wait for 2 weeks to get the result. But I will do it after my hpta resets. I hypothesize that high DHT levels will indicate overexpressed...

Can estrogen crash cause desensitization/knock out of the estrogen receptor - lets discuss!

Right now I'm 9 days off my TRT+E2 protocol (8mg test e ED + 0.1mg estradiol e ED), doing it cold turkey style. Primarily going off because I've decided to first pursue recovery with non-hormonal approach. But I also went off because I haven't yet had a comprehensive bloodwork done after my...

High progesterone levels from blood work

Thanks for the reply. If you feel inspired to do so/have extra time to spare, you can shot me a message in the pm (I won't be at home so I won't be able to respond right away). I'd especially like to see any bloodwork that you might have done. DHT and progesterone values are most welcome. Which...

High progesterone levels from blood work

I've also been wondering about this. Btw, as far as I'm aware you've been using supplemental E2 to help yourself after aromasin overuse - I'm wondering if you have any blood tests for progesterone and DHT specifically before and during E2 use. I ask this because I'm trying to get to the bottom...

Terrible anxiety and constantly at a heightened state on 100mg a week

Sorry to hear that. Look into pylopass as well. It's actually a parabiotic - a dead bacteria with strange hooks that attach to h pylori, basically stripping it off the mucosa tissue. Interesting mechanism of action. Btw, you mentioned in your diary that you deal with joint cracking, and this is...

Terrible anxiety and constantly at a heightened state on 100mg a week

Yeah, H pylori can make a great mess. Drastically reducing nutrient absorption as well. Fucking up stomach acidity further (despite it actually growing at first in low stomach acid environment). Have you also looked into mastic gum and pylopass? Both are used against h pylori, supposedly a must...

Terrible anxiety and constantly at a heightened state on 100mg a week

Don't underestimate the effect TRT has on overall mineral balance. Especially sodium/potassium ratio is what usually gets overlooked when on TRT. You might benefit from increased potassium uptake or test dose decrease. Some folks do way better on lower doses. If 50mg left you weak then consider...
