    Testosterone Decreased by Low-Fat Diets

Wow..........the mean serum Total T is 435.......and nobody thinks that's odd lol. I am to assume though that the sample population used to arrive at the number was probably compromised/unhealthy. Interesting article. Would have never guessed low T from that type of lifestyle.

    DHEA makes me...

That's interesting. My libido sky-rocketed on 25mg DHEA daily and that's where i've remained. Had any luck or trial runs with pregnenolone?

Has or is anyone here experiencing PVCs (premature ventricular contractions)?

Could be possible that you increased your NDT dose too much. Maybe drop down slightly (by a 1/2grain or so) and titrate back up that way. I think that many of us have experienced heart palps while dialing in thyroid. I"m not 100% sure thats what's going on here but if so it's fairly common.

Expert panel will examine contrasting guidelines for testosterone deficiency

I have seen labs for guys who were in the 600's total T with a free of like 9 or 10. They're definitely going to present signs and symptoms for sure. So hopefully what Morgentaler said above is going to become more common place........looking at the FreeT with signs and symptoms.

    Disappointing first follow-up labs

At the minimum it looks like you'd need to add T3 to your NDT dose. Very high RT3.

Has anyone used Thiroyh or Thyroid-S

It may have been that i got a bad batch of Thyroid S but when I initially started I noticed no difference but subsequent purchases seemed very inconsistent In my personal experience. Ended up going back to NatureThroid. If you have nothing else it's worth a shot. The pricing is excellent and...

My testosterone is lower than before I started TRT

Are you in the US? If so there really isn't much need to self-prescribe. And yes, sounds like you got UGL bunk test for sure.

    NUTRAScriptives

Anyone have experience with this brand? They have micronized DHEA and micronized Pregnenolone at pretty reasonable prices, in both regular and sustained release formulations. And then obviously a bunch of other supplements available as well.

    Sperm and fox news

I used to love his podcast as well, but the last 2 weeks he brought legit doctors on there and then I had to listen to Jay tell us all how smart he is for 80% of the podcast. Definitely starting to wear me out!

    High TT...Low FT

Your numbers would point to likely fairly high SHBG. If you are symptomatic then a knowledgeable and good doc would treat you. The only way to overcome what is most likely high SHBG in order to increase your freeT is with exogenous testosterone. I think it would be safe to assume that when you...

Low Testosterone saving a marriage ???

Either both or neither should be optimized hormonally. Obviously I believe that both should pursue it for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is for health reasons.

Is subq less effective for some?

I don't have the labwork to back up my experience either, but I went from dialed in to not so dialed in on SubQ lol. 28g-1/2" delt injections only for me now.

How long till levels reach optimum?

Depends a lot upon the quality of your doctor, the protocol he/she works out with you and adherance. Some guys as soon as 3 months. Tougher cases can be 12 months. Everyone around here will tell you: It's a marathon, not a sprint. Start low and go slow. Don't add in too many variables all at...

My experiment with IP6 (Iron chelator)

This is about all I know about it. I follow PD Mangan and some of his work and he's a huge fan of it for several reasons, chelating iron as one of them I believe. Anti-Cancer and Neuroprotective IP6 - Rogue Health and Fitness

Looks good! Glad you feel great. It's good that you started with just one thing, T, and allowed your body to adapt to that first instead of throwing the whole kitchen sink at it initially.
