    Curb expectations... or expect more?

I agree 100%. One must take the big picture into account and put in a serious and sustaned effort at overall wellness. Yet for some guys - often guys with very low SHBG - TRT really doesn't have any effect in terms of relieving "Low T" symptoms. I started TRT 6 years ago because I had low to...

    Curb expectations... or expect more?

TRT is often "over sold" IMHO. For a lot of guys, it over promises and under delivers. Speaking from experience.

    New Labs

A better question is, how do you feel? If you feel good on this protocol, leave it alone. If you fee like you have high E2 symptoms, then an adjustment would be in order.

Been on TRT w HCG since 2017-04. No benefits?

I have lower SHBG than you, and I too feel nothing from TRT. Best way to describe it is that it feels like injecting water. Gels felt the same. Daily injections are often tried with low SHBG guys and you might want to try that if you have not already. It did nothing for me, but you may be one...

    Low SHBG and anxiety?

I have low SHBG ( usually comes in around 10) and I have axiety. However I don't arimatize much and any AI dose over .05 ( not a typo) twice weekly tanks my E2. Nothing I gave tried over the last 5 years has helped and I have a great doc. (Defy Medical)

I hate HCG!! Do i have to keep taking it?

HCG feels like water for me also. Stopped after taking it for years and felt no change. Might even sleep slighter better, but that is hard to tell.

HRT has been a game changer in every aspect of my life

Congratulations on your TRT success. Consider yourself one of the lucky guys that has a response this positive. Many of us never get there.

    Thyroid medications and shbg levels

Thyroid meds affect SHBG levels in some folks, but not others. I have super low SHBG and have tried thyroid meds to raise it, but it wont budge in my case. Obviously the thyroid meds make a big difference in your case.

Approaching Six Weeks and I Feel Nothing

Some guys just feel nothing from TRT even with good lab numbers on paper. I have super low SHBG and TRT feel like injecting water to me at any dose or doing schedule, including daily injections of very small amounts of T. Sounds like you feel the same even with a decent level of SHBG.

Any Good Experiences with Daily Injections of Testosterone ?

FWIW, a daily injection with an insulin syringe only takes maybe 3-5 minutes and is painless. I did daily for 2 1/2 years. It helped me get some very nice E2 and Total T levels on paper, but it still felt like I was injecting water so I am back to twice weekly just because it makes no difference...

Anyone with libido and erection issues on TRT

An E2 of 60 when your Total T is 1500 is not really high in terms of the T-E ratio. The lab range max of E2 at 35 is generally associated with a Total T of 6-700. That said, you may feel better with a lower E2, only experimentation will tell. Have you tried the N.O. Stack often mentioned...

    SHBG Misconceptions

I used to inject small amounts daily (for 2 years) but that makes no difference (to me) in how I feel so I am back to E3.5 days. I don't clear Test from my system super fast like a lot of low SHBG guys do.

    SHBG Misconceptions

This makes perfect sense to those of us with very low SHBG. Conventional wisdom would indicate that lower is better, when in fact low SHBG means that one will often get no real benefits from TRT. My SHBG was 12 at my last test and Testosterone to me feels like I am injecting water. Oh, and I am...

New Research Confirms We Got Cholesterol All Wrong

A comprehensive new study on cholesterol, based on results from more than a million patients, could help upend decades of government advice about diet, nutrition, health, prevention, and medication. "No evidence exists to prove that having high levels of bad cholesterol causes heart disease...

    Peptides with TRT?

Its a sales job on the part of the clinics. Peptides need 6 months until you may, if you are truly lucky, notice some small changes. Very expensive as well.

    Has anyone ever regretted TRT?

Yes, and all that does is help me keep more stable T & E2 levels. It doesn't make my body "see" the T and use it, though. It literally feels like I am injecting water. Been working with Defy Medical for years, and taking thyroid meds - they all feel like water as well.

    Has anyone ever regretted TRT?

6 years. I have every low SHBG (high single digits to low teens), so now that I understand the ramifications of that, I get why it has not helped me at all.

    Has anyone ever regretted TRT?

Yes, I regret it. Wasted a ton of money over the years with no difference in how I feel. I did not have unrealistic expectations, either.

Dosing study or something to give to prescribing Dr that shows a weekly or more dosage vice monthly

Have him simply ask his doctor about the half-life of Test Cyp. (Its 8 days.) Then ask the doc how a dose every 14 days - or every 30 days if he gets one shot a month - is supposed to work well when the drug has an 8 day half life? I mean, if that stumps the doc, don't walk but RUN away from...

What should I expect after lowering my testosterone dose?

You might not feel anything for a few weeks until your body stabilizes on the new dosing protocol. You should have a more stable T and E level on twice a week dosing.

For TRT sucess cases do you still need ED drugs such as Viagra, etc?

I have low SHBG and my reaction to TRT is the same as yours. Nothing I have read on any TRT site has shown to be of any benefit for us low SHBG guys. There are the occasional "unicorns" - guys with low SHBG that get true benefits from TRT but they are extremely rare.

    TRT not working

I feel your pain as I feel nothing from TRT either, and I have never used Accutane or Finasteride. Nobody likes to talk about it or admit it, but the fact is that TRT doesn't work for everyone. And by "doesn't work," I mean the user doesn't feel any of the purported benefits even if their...

Most effective time to take AI

Anastrozole has a half of around 50 hours so just about everyone that uses it takes a small dose every 3.5 days and they are good to go. There are always outliers but that schedule works for most. Back when most TRT was a single shot of T per week, there were elaborate schedules to try to work...
