So I started Testim a couple months ago. My initial T levels were 290 and 260 (I'm a 40yo male). First few weeks were great, then it was like I fell off a cliff. I started experiencing very bad anxiety. I was having heart palps and just bad stuff all around. Got convinced I was having a...
So I've been using Testim now for 2 weeks.
So far so good. Energy has improved and definitely have a great feeling of well being. I expected it to be more aggressive but its actually more a feeling of calm confidence and clarity and focus which feels absolutely great. This in itself has...
Thanks, my dr put me on testim. Have been using it for about ten days and so far so good. Feel great actually. It stinks though. I've been putting it on in the morning after I shower. I can't really smell anything myself but no lie the women at work are throwing themselves on me. It's very...
I got some additional lab work done and wondered if someone could offer an opinion if it affects my previous results.
Dihydrotestosterone : 46 ng/dl (no reference range)
Dhea-Sulfate: 370.3 (102.6-416.3) ug/dl
Estrogens Fractionated
Estrone 65 (12-72) pg/ml
Estradiol 20.6...
My primary care doctor is part of the university medical center. They have their own lab. They also report their results using ng/ml (not ng/dl that most labs use) their bottom range is 180 (or 1.8 ng/ml).
So had another lab test this week. Same lab so same reference ranges. New total T was 260 (drawn at 9am).
According to the lab it's still in the reference range.
So. This is part of why im confused. According to these reference ranges a normal testosterone range goes down to 180 (doing the math conversion) and only up to 680. I do live in the US and go to a university system medical center. I dont know why they report the values this way.
Here are the lab reference ranges along with my results
