Pretty certain it was the alcohol. Ended up using a gauze pad to ensure it was dried and haven’t had an issue since. Lesson learned.

I do get the bubbles out before injecting. I rotate between stomach and ventral glute. Got the burn in both places (not when injecting the oil, but during the insertion). I suspect it's the humidity not allowing the alcohol to fully dry--even though I do give it a minute or two.

I'm about 4 months in, injecting .25ml 2x/week, using a 30g 1/2". Usually I feel nothing at all, but lately the prick and the insertion have felt like a hot poker (both Subq and shallow IM). I thought the alcohol was dry (maybe the increased humidity?). Could it be the Cyp that is dripping on...
