Initial and First Follow-up labs, E2 and SHBG concerns
Yea it didn't take me long to find that the hCG molecule is too large to permeate the tissues of the mouth and is useless according to many TRT guys. Doesn't give me a lot of confidence in my doc - between the troche, trying to start me at 200mg/wk, and not wanting to do bloodwork until 6 months...- Mission

Thanks that seems like a reasonable next step. But can the AI alone be raising my SHBG? Raising SHBG with dropping E2 is a weird combo I haven't been able to find a lot of solid info on.- Mission

Never had any thorough thyroid tests, just the TSH and free 3&4. TSH has always been between .6 and .8 for me, but I know TSH is not the end all be all. I've read around that guys with a poor thyroid function don't respond well to TRT and I'll consider that if I'm not getting results or feeling...- Mission

Started TRT Today
I'm a bit new myself. After 7 weeks of TRT, 100mg/week split into 2 doses, my TT went from 338 to 848 and FT (direct) from 9.4 to 19.2. I tested between doses. You may very well get over 1000 with 200mg. My doctor wanted to start me on 200mg and I insisted on starting lower and I'm glad I did. I...- Mission
